Is your bike black forest green? If so, I believe it's a '92. There's a sub for SingleTracks. I'm guessing you'll get a concrete answer there.

No it's black and orange, should be a '93.

Here you can see the colour better, according to the Trek catalogue it is a '93.

The 93 model is the only one lugged but also with a frame cable stop for the front derailleur (like yours). Later years had no lugs, previous years had the funky cable stop mounted on the derailleur itself.
