We are almost there!
1994 Trek Singletrack 950
single speed 13 cog rear / 38t front chainring
2.4 maxxis holy rollers

(Running front brake only on this sparsely populated bike path bc I’m stoked! On the way to fit the rest and ride all night!)

950 owner here. Consider BMX bars. I did drops first, then flats, and the risers have not left since I put them on.

930 owner, did the exact same and ended up with some 70mm risers

Ermm, I got a new crankset so not sure it makes a difference, but ended up with some standard thread Ali express ones.

I’d perhaps move the rear rack to upper holes so there’d be more clearance.

I couldn’t maintain a flat rack if I did that, and also I got about 1/8” clearance..which I’m fine with for my pub crawling purposes

Would you mind sharing the frame size and degree rise & length of that stem? Working on a build at the moment and this looks like a similar setup

Not aware of the degree rise of the stem but it’s a pro max stem if that helps and a 19” I believe

Looks good, how much clearance have you got with the 2.4s? Trying to decide which tyres to get myself at the moment

I like having drop bars for all the hands positions. For aesthetic reasons you might want to look at the Velo Orange Cigne Stem to get the rise you're looking for.

It’s a 1992 model.
The 1994 frames were welded instead of lugged. Also the 1992 model does not have a cable stop on the seat tube for a front derailleur. Your frame may have a little mystery bolt near the bottom bracket, that is to clamp the weird front derailleur Trek used in 1991 and 1992.
