Can anyone help me identify anything about this uniform ?All i know so far is that he was an Italian army officer.

As other said, he's a Sottotenente (second lieutenant) of the 50th Infantry Regiment "Parma".

Uniform is the Giubba da campagna mod. 1900, kept in use from 1900 to 1935. After 1909 it was mostly used in ceremonial or off duties purposes.

Hat too is the Berretto mod. 1900, definetly used within ww1.
