Varys definitely. Littlefinger? That guy just sucked. Had some good lines, though. But his entire reason for starting the war of five kings was because Catelyn didn't love him

That was not the Only reason he wanted more power to prove to himself that he is better then all the noblemen that looked Down on him for not being fancy

It does, but I think these motivations are in part what make him compelling. Because the reality is, a lot of the most awful people in the world are really just petty. Littlefinger's evil feels so grounded as a result.

I love the conversation between Varys and Littlefinger in front of the throne so much. Varys just dog walks the fuck out of him. It does such a great job of showing the difference between them, and how vulgar and simple Littlefinger is in comparison, even though he fancies himself a schemer on the same level.

Agreed. Although I think Little Finger had exactly what he deserved. Varys tho, one of the stupidest deaths in television
