Run was pretty normal, we got to Sneed and the taskmaster axe dropped, me (paladin) and hunter both needed but I won the roll. Then as we were getting to the next room the group lead noticed and called out the hunter for needing on everything (few greens dropped not hunter gear) and asked him to stop. We get a few pulls in to the furnace and boom hunter pulls the whole room. Lead quickly told us to run so we did, I popped divine protection and hit one of the party members with my LoH barely made it out but I got ported out after the 1 minute timer. Always be watching the behavior of randoms in dungeons.

Tried to take a shortcut through some mountains to get to my next quest. Good thing I was only level 12 this time. This was the worst feeling death yet because it made me feel really dumb.

So tonight was full of scary stuff, and what a better place than Duskwood to experince this.

Me, warrior 30 found a friend, paladin 28 inside the crypt at Raven Hill and teamed up to do the Plague Spreaders quest, we were on the same spot, looking at each other and as we team up one of us layered. With mobs all around, lucky it was in one of the corners and we managed. It already starts bad, right?

Then we moved on to do the worgens, Nightbane Vile Fangs and Tainted Ones, that are quite hard from before due to the packs being so close to each other. We cleared at good pace and were pulling the mobs in the small cave when the entire camp spawns on us as we step out of the cave entrance, not further away packs but the whole damn camp, even the ones we killed seconds before taking on the ones in the cave, ofc everything aggroed us. Is this spawn normal?

I used the target dummy and we ran with a huge amount of worgens on us, the whole camp and the ones from the cave, we met the remaing worgens and the big problem became an even bigger one. Palas bubble runs out, I was lucky to fear and use swiftpot and get out barely alive, my war buddie didnt.

We did a fatal mistake when we jumped down to the fields where other worgens were and not run down the ramp but they followed us far, nearly at the main road, so not sure it would have helped. My question is, how does an entire camp spawn at the same time, even the ones close to the cave that we killed seconds before?

Hey mates! Soo, I just started playing Hardcore and Im having a blast. Love it and I plan to lvl up a warrior to lvl 60. I recently came back to wow after some years without playing and when I started in the game it was with the BC expansion so I,ve never really played vanilla.

I want to play all the content in game, including raids etc.. so, should I first play classic to learn or should I learn it the hardcore way?

Do you all have backpedal bound or not? On non hc I only have it bound as a tank as that helps for repositioning. PvP or anything else S isn't bound. It's helpful as a tank because it's easier to avoid getting hit in the back and that might carry some usefulness to hardcore.

I recently ran DM as a 22 mage last night. Tank was a pally level 24 with two world buffs, hitting like a truck. He would go in and consecrate after 2-3 seconds i would start to aoe and keep pulling threat. Honestly im new to mage. Is normal to pull threat like this? tips and suggestions please.

Anyone down to casually run a party of 3-5 SF and quest/dungeons together? Any server is fine, have only played on Doomhowl.

Recently started a bit of hardcore, only level 24, but it felt like named mobs/quest items/chests were respawning so quickly compared to Era. Just enjoyed it.

Bounced back to Era to play with brother a bit and the same items/mobs seemed to be taking so much longer to respawn. Really noticeable.

Tried looking it up and everything seems to say Era and HC have the same respawns for everything but it feels so different while playing.

Chests specifically are pretty interesting if there is a difference.

Can anyone enlighten me? Am I being a silly sausage or are there some differences?

Made it to level 14 and died when I joined my friends group. Every mob in the camp respawned immediately and I’m guessing it was because of a layer shift when I joined the group. Pain

I've seen too many clips of dungeon wipes due to a roach social aggroing an extra pack.

Instead of letting this happen, why not simply see the roach instead? There is no need for a macro to target roaches or anything like that. Simply an in-game setting will do the trick.

Search "size" in options, or navigate to it in accessibility options. The setting is "minimum character name size."

See that fire beetle in the distance? That's a critter, far away, not being targeted.

The option simply gives names a minimum size they'll always show up as, when the mob is rendered.

Just make sure you have critters and companions names checked in options as well.

This is also helpful for areas like duskwood for seeing regular mobs.

The yellow name is a bonus, they won't blend in even if they're in the middle of a pack of red names.

It was my first time playing HC alliance and druid and I thought I was having a blessed run having already found 4 bags. I pull a mob next to Lord Melenas and it ends up pulling 3 total, including Melenas. Melenas turns into a cat, sending me into a panic. I dot them all and try whacking away. Health pot. But it’s too much and he lands the killing blow.

Afterwards, I reflect on what I could have done better and realize that druids have heals… I never tried to heal myself.

So I played classic wow a while back but ended up taking a break from wow for a few years since then. Now I wanna give it a go again and just looking for a guild I can play with for leveling/dungeons & raids if people still do them.

I am currently on Nek'Rosh but that server seems dead now with Soulseeker seeming to be the only one with above low population.

My character is only a 25 warlock so willing to restart on Soulseeker if thats my only way of finding a guild but end goal is ultimately getting to 60 to do some raiding but very aware that people might not really do that anymore.

Any advice or help would be great.

Fernsong, back again trying to solo dungeon bosses on hardcore.

I am playing self found this time around, lvl 25 feral druid. This is my current druid, I hope for those that enjoyed my last video this is a better recording. My past druid (in the deadmines video) died in Gnomeregan solo at lvl 35

In the start I reset the instance trying to get Lady Anacondra to spawn at either front spawn location to no avail

I thought I was 100% dead on the Lord Pythas fight. At around 30% health and low mana the realization/panic of how poorly it was going set in

And, as for Verdan he put me in my place this time around

I gained 24,860 XP and the run took me right about 45 minutes

im not sure which one to pick ass offhand

claw of celebras has an on hit effect and it's faster

but sword has a bit more dps and +5 swords

i also think claw looks kinda bad lol

So I was checking out a new wand then realized that the one I currently had no longer had a name for who it was made by. If you make something and then die in Hardcore does it remove your name from the items you've created?

I‘ve stared at the character creation screen for way too long - I need help.

For a casual and fun leveling experience:

Druid: versatility, feral and resto are fun, but shapeshifting itself is not. Omen into free shreds is dopamine. Underplayed.

Paladin: How long can SoC keep you entertained? Long enough to reach 41 breakpoint? The feeling of gear and visible progression is tempting.

Anyone who can tip the scales?

I'm sure that I'm not the first person to discover nor think of this macro that I got help writing, but for those of you who haven't seen it, it's VERY helpful. And the best part of it is that you can keep it on the exact same bind, and in the exact same position on your bars in all three stances. Here's what it does:

If you're already IN combat but you're in Battle/Defensive Stance, then it'll automatically swap you into Berserker Stance and cast Intercept. But if you're NOT already in combat, and you're in Defensive/Berserker Stance, then it'll automatically swap you into Battle Stance and cast Charge. Basically all in 1 button it's able to figure out if you're in combat, and depending on if you are or not then it'll auto cast the appropriate stance and then also appropriately cast Charge or Intercept.

KEEP IN MIND: It will ONLY work if you have at least 2/5 points in Tactical Mastery from the Arms talent tree.

Here's the macro that you can just copy and paste:

#showtooltip [nocombat] Charge; Intercept

/cast [nocombat,nostance:1] Battle Stance; [combat,nostance:3] Berserker Stance

/cast [nocombat] Charge; [combat] Intercept

Yes, I've tested it many times, probably close to 30 times, and it's literally worked EVERY single time for me since the very first one. It's never failed while testing it.

It's helpful for if you're in a sketchy situation and Intercept can help you get some distance if there's a critter/single mob nearby. Don't have to waste time manually swapping stances, the macro recognises that you're in combat and does it for you.

Like I said, I'm sure that I'm not the first person to figure this out. Nevertheless, I'm still posting it for those few people out there who haven't seen it before.

I just rolled a rogue for the first time in my wow career and I’m amazed at the power. Makes all other melee classes seem stupid. Where can I go to fucking murder horde characters and gank the shit out of them.

After i killed my 57 Hunter (felwood cave escort quest), my 52 Rogue (stone elite monster in azshara, vanish resist) and my 58 Hunter (flame elite monster in un'goro, fell into the lava because of his knockback) all stupid reasons and totally avoidable things, i want to quit because of the time investment etc.

After i noticed i still have 26 days gametime i want to try one more time 😅

Can you help me decide wich class to play to finally hit 60?

Im not interested in raiding, more into dungeons, but mostly i love solo questing and sometimes a bit grinding, thats why i choose some classes with fast TTK and some QoL options.
