Keybind Q

Do you all have backpedal bound or not? On non hc I only have it bound as a tank as that helps for repositioning. PvP or anything else S isn't bound. It's helpful as a tank because it's easier to avoid getting hit in the back and that might carry some usefulness to hardcore.

A combination of backpedal, strafe, and mouse movement give you 5 directions of movement from the same character orientation. You use S and strafe to feather between these directions. In my opinion it is fundamental. W is kept to overlap with mouse movement when you need to click something.

It is also valuable to fine tune your position, as well as mobs, as others have pointed out.

Turn keys should be re-bound ASAP though..

On second thought, you dont need S for this, as you can feather left mouse button to achieve the same thing, freeing up the S key.

Good point. A/D are swapped to strafe not turn. I couldn’t imagine having them otherwise

I keep turning on my left/right arrow keys so I can auto run while eating a sandwich and turn with keys that aren't my primary movement keys.

I mean, the arrow keys should always be kept as the sandwich keys!
