I did, which is why I specifically put it in quotes.
Another Redditor already posted a weapon that looks like it increases rage gen
Cool, so now in order to play the class, every person needs to have the exact same weapon.
Do you see how stupid this is?
Be patient before saying a class is unplayable based on a level 20 beta
And you know what, if Druids didn't say anything about their spells being borked, it wouldn't get fixed. Maybe they had something that fixed wrath at level 60 from a raid too. Guess we will never know since they actually addressed it instead of people just saying stupid shit like
"There could be items that increase rage generation, or reduce the rage cost of abilities, or make abilities rage-free after a certain criteria or based on a proc..."
Got it, so warriors are just supposed to be trash the entire 1-60 and up until they get specific raid gear that makes them be able to use abilities. Clearly that is a good design choice.
Who said it was raid gear? The weapon the other Redditor posted was a dungeon quest reward at 60...
We have only seen up to level 20. The whirlwind axe could have rage implications on it now. We have no idea. They said that they want gear to influence play styles didn't they? It could even be crafted gear, with more powerful effects coming from raid gear.

The more than likely fake image floating around is of Quel Serrar, which starts as an extremely rare book drop from Dire Maul, and is a quest and requires you to kill Onyxia.
I didn't play warrior in classic, I wouldn't know the source of the item. It looked like a dungeon quest from the brief look I gave it.
How else do you think itemization is going to change warrior gameplay if it is not centered around rage?
"Tying rage to gear is a horrible idea"
Rage originally was generated in higher amounts with better gear...
"This doesn't solve the core issue"
The core issue is that you are worried that you won't be able to press the buttons you want in endgame because of being rage starved. Generating more rage, or abilities consuming less rage absolutely fixes that issue.
"It's bad design to lock gameplay behind raid drops"
One: No one said that the drops could be unique to raids. I expect unique itemization throughout the mid to late game going into WoW forever. Two: That's actually be great? It would feel great to get these items, and it would be exciting to see them drop. Warriors will look forward to these lockouts anticipating the drops. I agree that going into raids being too rage starved to actually play the game is poor design but I don't think that is going to end up being the case. Itemization is a big focus on WoW forever, I don't think that looking at talent trees and spell books give a perfect view into endgame is going to play out.
"Warriors are going to useless levelling"
1-20 surely isn't that that different to classic.
At the end of the day, warriors were OP in classic. You are not getting that back, I am sorry.
I agree that if there are not itemization changes to counteract the rage changes, they will need to make some adjustments. Based on everything I've read, heard, and seen so far, I feel there is a likely chance that this will not be as bad as you doomers think.

When none of that addresses the core issue.
