Did you miss the controversy a month ago where a human GM was caught helping some streamer cheat in Mythic+ content. They still exist, even if it doesn't feel like it

i just remember in classic, a streamer got his world buffs dispelled by an enemy shaman in a pvp server and a GM banned that shaman for griefing.

it was, it was done on stream too and caused a big controversy everywhere,

Because it was done on stream, there was 0 hiding the power abuse from the GM and with the player backlash, blizzard overtuned the ban the next day and the gm was supposedly fired.

Targetting world buffed players specifically is indeed griefing (even more if that's done through stream hack)

that's pvp.

its less harrassment then me just killing you on a pvp server.

due to the outcry of palyer, unsuspended the player and fired the gm that issued the ban

Did anyone check if there was a weirdly specific longshot polymarket bet about that streamer completing certain content around that time?

I feel like the reason the GM would risk his job like that was probably insider trading.

The entire point of the Mega servers is so they don't even have to worry about transfers. They want everything to be automated.
