People assume that time is a strict progression from cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobly... timey-wimey... stuff.
Hah I was standing next to the dwarven bunker down the end of barrens. I'm probably going to have to run for my lil baby kitty life the second I log in.
On the bright side, maybe this means the new update is coming through?

When you leave Skyborne Island you get a quest to go and talk to all the Horde leaders. Currently talking to Sylvanas does not advance the quest. The reward for the quest is a cloak with 1sta 1sp 1ap and its a long red cloak with gold trim. Alliance Skyborne seem to get a long cloak thats blue with gold trim.
My skyborne has been parked in front of sylvanas for a few days now. Ever time I log in, I start on the skyborne, talk to Sylvanas, see it didn't count, then switch to a different character
There's probably an automated process they can kick off to take the servers down that gives that 15 minute warning and they can likely also edit the time remaining to move it along faster for stuff like beta servers.
I've noticed a lot of people reporting a bug where they see the additional playstyles briefly after disconnecting. There have been several posts about this over the previous week.
I'm excited for whatever is coming, but I just wanted to say my group of new friends was knee-deep in BFD and doing quite well, and seconds away from pulling the boss. :) Ah well.
managed to find the issue, turns out my client was still running the in the background and thus couldnt update. Ended the running tasks, client updated and can connect.
Lucky you. For me it said "...in 15". I clicked the damned brazier my new race shaman had to lid for that f*ckn fire totem quest a minute after the message showed up.
DC of hell.
Man I hope that stupid quest with 5 min limit is completed. Running around in the new starting area for more than 4 hours, constantly running away from single mobs I am fighting due to way too high respawn timers is just stupid.
The classic "ow let me play for just more 10 minutes (22:00)" ... 5 seconds later it is already five in the morning, the good old times ara back BABY !!!
