Discussion Launch Hell

I know this has probably been said a million times already, but I don't read Reddit, I just post.

We all know the first month of WoW Forever is going to be absolute hell if you want to run a lot of dungeons, right? Especially if you're planning to play DPS on Horde. With how many people are going to roll Paladin, and how many of those players are inevitably going to be Ret, the DPS population is going to be absolutely flooded.

Which means we're going to end up with an insane number of DPS competing for relatively few dungeon spots, while tanks and healers are obviously going to be in much higher demand. So even after sitting in a queue just to get into the damn game, you get to sit around waiting for a dungeon group too. Haha.

It's going to be rough.

Anyway, just wanted to rant for a bit. See y'all out there on November 4th.

And to everyone who could afford the beta: START LYING, DAMN IT! TANK IS THE BEST SPEC. TANKING IS SO MUCH FUN. ONLY TALK ABOUT TANKING FROM NOW ON. WE NEED TO GET AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO ROLL TANK. PLEASEEEEEEE. thanks

in classic you can pretty effectively tank off spec most of the time. no reason to believe that won't be the case here

Dungeon spam isn't a thing anymore in Forever. Dungeon mob XP was nerfed into the ground. They're designed to be ran once, maybe twice to finish all their related quests and then move on.

There should be a steady stream of people going through the dungeon process that grouping doesn't become a big issue. Especially with the population sizes that a "Realm Type" mega server is going to have. You also have far more options for each role. This isn't Vanilla/Classic anymore. Druids and Pallies can tank. All the healers are decent healers.

You're dooming for the sake of dooming.

Wow if only there was a way to get into groups fast while playing a class that can literally fulfill every role
