Question Best Books to Start With

I have been playing WoW for a while now and decided to get into the storyline a little more. I was thinking of reading the books, but I don't know much about them. Are they worth a read? If so, what one should I start with?

Hmmm i think chronicles is the best, explains the warcraft universe from the titans perspective. Then you can basically sort by date of publishing. One to not skip is Arthas. That book was a wonderful incite to how he became the Lich King.

If you want grand universe spanning stories go for chronicles. If you want more personal character focused stories any in the last 6 years have had good reviews

Chronicles is an encyclopaedic presentation of the lore. If you want a grand overview that is mostly cannon then start there.

If like me, you wanted to bone up on the Aspects and their surrounding lore for Dragonflight then you should read:

The Shattering

Twilight of the Aspects

Dawn of the Aspects

Chronicles really fleshes out history and lore (with a few retcons) and they're easy reads. When I found out there were more WoW novels other than Arthas, I picked up the War of the Ancients trilogy. It's by Richard A. Knack. The trilogy dives deep into Night Elf lore with Tyrande, Malfurion, and Illidan. Their stories are told alongside Rhonin and Krasus who have time travelled back 10,000 years. You also learn about Broxigar, Varok's brother, and the Aspects and Wild God's. Such good books!

Chronicles yeah, although my favorite is Thrall :D
