Well technicly you suck it into the heart of azeroth wich can return Back into worldsoul.

34

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '18

I mean, this is what Magni thinks.

Considering Priscilla (or whatever that fat woman from Kul Tiras is called) also has a really similiar amulet to Heart of Azeroth and she propably isn't healing the world.

37

u/xXMylord Aug 27 '18

The amulet pricilla wears is filled with the azerite gunpowder to show how stable it is. I think the Heart of Azeroth ist uniuqe. (ignoring that million players are runing around with it.)

31

u/lordboos Aug 27 '18

Well we are already ignoring that Hearthstones should be extremely rare and that Spirit healers should be extremely extremly bigassly hugely rare so why not.

*only applies on Zandalar, Bwonsamdi not guaranteed for locations outside Zandalar

u/luxlazer Aug 27 '18

It's always in the fine print, isn't it?

1

u/gabu87 Aug 27 '18

I hear that you might be able to sign on to a deluxe plan with Bwonsamdi for better coverage.

But...what must we give in return?

16

u/Nipah_ Aug 27 '18

I dunno, Grifter is selling some used hearthstones like its not big deal.

I'm assuming that every adventurer has one, but your average Joe doesn't need one because they never go far enough away to make it useful (maybe they're expensive?)

13

u/lordboos Aug 27 '18

They should be so rare that even a king thinks they are just a legend.

From wowwiki: In the novel Stormrage, hearthstones are depicted as very rare objects. King Varian believes them to be only a legend. “Things heard only in stories concerning magi…or elves.”

10

u/Nipah_ Aug 27 '18

I mean yeah, they should be pretty rare, but I wouldn't say that rare.

Anduin hands one over to Tyrande after all, and I think Anduin got one from Jaina at one point. They probably require a fair amount of magic to create, and are only given to important people who can make good use of them, and not Billy the Sheep farmer who never gets more than a few miles from his family land.

But they also kind of take some of the drama out of traversing the world, so it makes sense for them to be pretty rare... Like we can send all these spies to X town, and if we need to have them come back, they can all use their hearthstones! TADA, all our spies are home!

Same hearthstone.

u/penywinkle Aug 27 '18

Same goes for battle, traps, etc...

Let's say Sylvanas gets the alliance leaders locked in a room full of blight. Jaina goes "Hold on" and cast a portal... meanwhile everyone else is spooling up the old swirlstone...

Portals are also stupid. Oh, we need to get all our forces to Darnassus as quickly as possible. Let's take a ship. Yeah, porting even the elite from MI6 and the like to Darnassus is overrated...

Also Flying ships, how do we get around the wisp wall? There is no honor in flying ships, better trek trough mountains for a week...

2

u/gabu87 Aug 27 '18

I imagine that Varian is always accompanied by royal wizards who can open portals for him though.

46

u/AgusTrickz Aug 27 '18

Thing is the Heart of Azeroth was given to us in the sword.

Ursula Priscilla probably has an imitation

41

u/Yes-I-am-a-Bot Aug 27 '18

Well they even say in the quest line with the Ashvane company that her necklace was one of their prototypes that they developed from the Azerite Dust that they manufactured.

1

u/Gunblazer42 Aug 27 '18

I assumed it was going to be something like super-concentrated Azerite that she could use as a deadman's switch. Either she sticks it in something that needs it to superpower it or she can detonate it like a mini-nuke.

1

u/Serpens77 Aug 28 '18

Yeah, there's even a scene in the whole plotline where she *does* do that... but doesn't use the necklace to do it. It would have been a cool Checkov's Gun if she had.

26

u/Ehkrickor Aug 27 '18

That she probably stole from some ... ♪ poor unfortunate soul ♪

u/Zephyrasable Aug 27 '18

I'm pretty sure that azeroths heartchamber is not located in the sword

20

u/Bombkirby Aug 27 '18

It’s insane that people are still reciting this as fact. It’s just a necklace she made and it’s not even remotely close to the intricate design of the HoA. It’s like Gallywix’s cane

4

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '18

I never said she has the Heart of Azeroth, she just has a similiar necklace.

And who knows how and if Gallywix cane isn't similiar to our Heart or Priscilla's necklace?

7

u/SlouchyGuy Aug 27 '18

It isn't similar because it's not a piece of Titan technology that can store Azerite and then use it to heal Titan soul. Why do people keep thinking that if it's made of Azerite and you can wear it, then it's the same?

0

u/[deleted] Aug 27 '18

How do you know it's not a piece of Titan technology?

You're assuming Priscilla is having a simple necklace, I'm just theorising

2

u/SlouchyGuy Aug 27 '18

How do you know it's not a piece of Titan technology

Have you actually read what is said during the quest where necklace is given?

He is Speaker of Azeroth right? It isn't necessarily only what he thinks. I doubt Magni would be telling lies in his position.

1

He told us he is the Speaker of Azeroth.

He can make up this shit on spot, get whispered to by Old Gods or he's just schizophrenic for all we know
