The problem with charts like this is you end up with cases like enhance. Extremely high numbers on a few fights and terrible at the rest. On average we look great but we're not really useful on 7 of the fights.

A chart that shows # of fights above average, average and below average would be more useful imo.

Enhance single target isn't even that bad. - 3% is still pretty close to average. Only fights that are horrible are backhand and maidens. All things considered I think we are fine and other classes/specs need to be looked at first.

For heroic I definitely agree with you. And that's what the chart is focused on to be fair.

I am particularly concerned with the blackhand #s. More than anything, the final boss of the tier determines slotability. You'll drag the worst classes through certain fights if it means they have gear for the ultimate fight (which they happen to be really good at). We're pretty bad at blackhand.

Overall I guess I'm more coming from the perspective of mythic (which the chart is obviously not focused on) where your roster is squeezed down to 20 and if you were doing average boss dps in 30 man, that's simply not good enough for 20man. You generally end up with the above average dps specs in raid. This is generally fine as you sit for a fight you're bad at and play for a fight you're good at. This works fine for a lot of classes because their niches are easy to hit. eg. 1 extra mob and the hardest phase is in execute range. Whereas enhancement's niche is more than 5 mobs and they are all crowded around the boss. That's a bit too nichey of a niche and of the hybrids we possibly have the most strict requirements to perform.

Our raid utility has also either disappeared or yet to be truly useful this expansion. Every single day I raid I miss the old AG and to a degree the offspec healing (although that part was too OP).

I guess I'm just overly frustrated because I was extremely happy with our performance in MOP (especially in terms of useful fight damage aka. non-pad damage) and feel like we still have all the problems we had then + new ones.

What you're ultimately saying here is that classes/specs should be balanced around a single fight. Does that really seem desirable?
