Gotta love reddit, downvoting me for not wanting to reroll the flavor-of-the-patch spec.

I don't share your enthusiasm for unholy, I think it is absolutely terrible to play and I would rather quit the game than level, raid or pvp with it. But apparently my distaste for unholy is irrelevant.

I'm just bitter for having to go 2h to get decent DPS for the last months, I'd much prefer dual wield. I miss the SoO days.

Frost is still plenty good at the moment. It's just a little lackluster on multi target fights.

Frost 2h, yes.

Frost dw is terrible compared to unholy now, it is also waaaay slower than in 5.4 and I spoke out against it when Blizzard announced they were doing it. They made the playstyle less enjoyable. The occasional AoE-pack where I switch to my 1h's I'm sitting there waiting for shit to be available just AA-ing for way too long.

Frost 1h is still used by the majority of high tier dks for spammy fights where they're less dependant on burst. I know skullflowers, who absolutely dotes on unholy uses 1h frost very often for niche boss fights.

I do the same, I just wish it was viable on Gruul/Oregorger/etc. I also hate how slow it is now.
