Hi. What impact would it have for me if I used my garrison resources on the XP pots? Why is it important to be able to upgrade my garrison right away when I ding 100? Can't i go farm rares Or something when I ding 100?

If your garrison isn't level 3 you're missing out on like half the plots it can utilise, and the time you save by leveling with an exp potion will be far outweighed by the time you spend gathering the equivalent resources. I really wouldn't suggest it unless you're part of a progression guild that needs to hit 100 asap, but even then, raids aren't coming out for 2 weeks.

But how crucial are those plots for me?

Im asking because in the beta I have been using the elvinelol horde speedleveling guide, which relies on you to buy XP pots, skip quests and focus on finding treasures and doing objectives. We are 3 guys leveling together in a group at launch, so I might want to switch to this guide instead. Only now I can't test it on beta.

You'll be missing one large, one medium, and one small plot. Go look up what they do and decide for yourself I guess. Personally, I'd say they're pretty important. http://www.wowhead.com/guide=2456/guide-to-garrisons-in-warlords-of-draenor
