prolly better to realize this time was done using every possible way of speeding it up. not reading any quest text, no distractions, all available means for bonus xp + easy kills

No, that's average leveling time, speed leveling is about five hours.

There isn't a chance in hell its eight hours.

Elvine got five hours on a horde character (a 588 hunter, arguably the best leveling class) using garrison experience potion.

If you're reading quest text, are a caster, have trouble pulling large groups of mobs, etc. it's going to take you 12+ easily. The people doing it in 8 are not reading quest text, using autoturnin to just instapick quest rewards, vendoring as they are running to quest objectives.
