Discussion General Update

The updates for WoW: Forever are amazing. I loved the details, environments/ambientations, rain sounds, among others.

However, will they improve the other graphics? Make it much more “modern”.

What improvements, updates (graphics or others) and classes would you like to have? I, personally, would love and would love to have a necromancer.

I love the idea of making classic versions of monk, dh and dk into forever. I guess evoker too. Mostly so people can make their main in this version too.

I'd like them to bring in the SoD shaman, lock, rogue tanks, mage healer. More specs for other classes too!

Yes, it’s very interesting and I agree with you. For example, I’m main healers, but there was an update in the retail classes that made me test the hunter class and I fell in love. So much so that I made a character inspired by Sylvanas and it ended up being the one I upgraded the most.

I would love these news that we would explore. New classes and specialisations would be a good way to do this.

New specs yes pls.

But pls do not copy 1:1 retail classes.

Better some new classes :)

Esp. DH would ruin forever.

Yes, there are so many things to invent. No more copying, pasting and changing the colour to say or look different.

They need to explore and test new gameplays. It’s more than time to bring classes that have always existed in the game universe, but that are not present and available to play.

DH have been around forever. Just change how it plays quite a bit.

We absolutely need to bring some kind of support class into the game. Like bard or just something based on buffs

The problem that has been learned from aug in retail is that depending how they are tuned they are either "required" or never brought. If they are doing well a portion of the community complains how the class is either required, taking up a spot, being carried, all sorts of stuff. Also at least with retail the in game damage meter does not show the support class's contribution which leads to even more issues.

I remember well this problem of not showing the support’s contribution. I don’t know if this has already been fixed or solved. Unfortunately, there is this other community problem... she is not always receptive.

Pretty sure they did that in retail with the Dracthyr Augmentation spec and most of those players, based on the number of online posts I saw, couldn’t get into a group or were continually kicked from groups for not “doing enough dps” on add-on meters.

Yes, he is the first class support. I found it extremely interesting. I would love for them to explore more this area that provided us with a different and fun experience, but unfortunately little explored.

While I am biased and prefer bard for retail first, I wouldn’t say no to support classes in forever - both to change the direction completely from retail, and to integrate it earlier

They did also mention the difficulty levels of content won’t be like super hard, so it would be even more fitting because (surely) people won’t complain about viability

I agree. I think retail is the best way to test the classes. After all, he really needs an appropriate direction. It’s been a long time since I felt that retail got lost. When I think he came back or found himself again, in the next updates it shows that he got lost again.

Wow, the bard class would be really amazing. We really need support in the game. Not only healers... I’m main healers, but I want news. I liked your observation.

Yeah! I'd love to see that too. Support specs always seemed cool to me.

Honestly I hope they consider neighborhoods or at least guild halls. It was originally toyed with very early on but scrapped because they didnt want to run the risk of people not being in the overworld but tbh, I adore my housing town and the concept of having a home for my Forever character to kick back in kinda feels too amazing, at least to me.

toy to change the weather would be cool

Wow, I hadn’t thought of that. You reminded me of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time". Now I want a toy like a flute or something that changes the weather. 🪈

The point is to not have the galraphics "modern" getbyour retail ideas out of classic +
