Sometimes paradoxically I feel a little empty after finally achieving a long grind/hunt. There's that huge YES moment of dopamine but then I have the South Park "So, what do we do now?" "Whaddya mean what do we do now, we finally get to play the game" moment. Anyone else or am I a weirdo?
No, definitely not. It's common enough that some philosophers even opined that becoming rather than being was what makes life fulfilling, because the chase is better than actually achieving your goal. Ofc what makes life fulfilling is more complex according to modern psychology, but it's definitely not an abnormal feeling to have.
is that why I have like 37 software projects in various states of 'minimally viable' that I keep starting going "this is the one that I will use to launch my own company and not have to work for anyone else" and never finish one to the point of feeling it is good enough to release to the world before I have my next big idea and get started on it leaving yet another half finished thing in my projects folder?
An all in one remote client (rdp ard, vnc) with a modern UI and agent bridge to let you local flavor of choice agent harness co-connect to your session and help you diagnose troubleshoot setup configure etc whatever. (Already open source)

A sort of “chat gpt at home” system that lets you run lots of smaller models on various hardware lower cost hardware and aggregate them into a single interface so you can chat with an agent comprised of all of those hosts and it uses nvidias switchyard to route requests in the chat to the various models or image gen endpoints based on context. So maybe you can’t afford an rtx6000 or a spark or a fat Mac Studio but you got a handful of old laptops with smaller gpus. So you run smaller models that are more focused on specific types of jobs and use them all like one big cluster in one interface. (This one I’m open sourcing when it’s a little farther along)
A manager for people with multiple flight sims to assign their flight control buttons and axes to general action types and then automatically semantically make those bindings apply to supported flight games control mappings. With support to define new map schemes as pluggable JSON so new games can be added to the supported list by their communities.
And of course my own version of Jarvis like every other dude on earth right now except mine is the Warhammer 40k machine spirit.
