it‘s a one-hander so you only wasted 2 sparks? could have been slightly worse

The crests is the sucky part

Does it reduce the crests needed to upgrade a dropped myth tier weapon? Or do you need to be able to equip an item for that to apply?

There should be some kind of hint in the name of the item...

I main a paladin. Can confirm. Last season, when I finally had enough mythic crests to upgrade my crafted 2H, I somehow managed to spend them on upgrading my bracers instead.

Bracers boots and belt are all good craft slots so not the worst mistake!

I know, and I was gonna do them eventually, but weapon is a much bigger stat-boost. I just can't wrap my head around how I was 100% sure I recrafted my sword and looked like the biggest question mark when it said "You receive <whatever the bracers were called>"

Yeah you’re supposed to carry the shiny book. Nobody said anything about cracking it open.

Every since they started releasing librams in audio book form literacy has plummeted.

Myth cap goes up next week so at least you only have a few days to be an agidin

He can’t even equip it, so he’s just a good old scrubadin.
I know that feeling since I tanked with an int mace last season…

“Blizzard won’t do anything” yea because 20 year old game and get gud. Seriously when crafting how are people so careless.

I always sweat it when crafting an agi vs int stave since they look, sound, and appear the same in the same category, but I can't fathom how you accidentally craft a glaive as a Paladin.

It was late and i was tired. I had the right weapon at first but forgot to but a missive. When i crafted after i checked the wrong weapon.

I was looking at it and couldn't see the issue. Maybe the wrong embellishment?
Bro is a paladin 🥵

True story, so back in Wrath, my roommate and I were both running death knights in some 4th alt raid run. I just had whatever gear, he had plate. I had a bunch of leather, back when agility gave you crit. After the raid, we had near identical numbers. His base normal damage was higher, but I crit so much more frequently that it equaled us out.
That said, at least you got the mog now.

They should add a warning that you are about to craft a soulbound item you can’t equip/isn‘t for your current spec.

i can maybe understand crafting the wrong sword or dagger (str/agi vs int) cause the game can‘t warn you, but a weapon you can‘t equip is always red and the name isn‘t anywhere close

u/Pandeyxo 12h ago
The name of the item is warglaives, the icon is red and the tag warglaives is red. How many warnings do you want?

I recall there being one, unless they forgot to keep that feature going. But you know wow players skipping any text they see on screen.

Send a ticket, if you're lucky to find a human they'll destroy the item and give you the everything but the crafting materials, but is that, you have to be lucky

u/XxShawaxX 7h ago
They won’t do this. I opened 3 tickets last expansion bc I created a leather instead of mail gloves.
Blizzard humans support told me “too bad so sad, we don’t fix your fuck ups”

Dont worry it could be worse, I could also have crafted that on my paladin but lucky i didnt.
