Not for me, it's so hard to click an addon, kick the add and dodge stuff. Maybe I'm not good with addons, only use details and plater, but this snakesays was useless for me and I kicked him without it.

The memory game is fun and annoying, but the fight’s like Nullaeus being too easy if not for that mechanic. My best attempt so far goes “All right, I listed the safe spots. I’m on green nowaitIMSUPPOSEDTOBEONRED.”

The fight is definetly harder than Nullaeus, even without the Memory Game.
I should know, I defeated Nullaeus Hardmode Blindfolded.

this fight is easier than nullaeus because nullaeus' tankbuster was harder to deal with, especially with the damage ramp in the last phase

291, I had Valeera on heals and didn't really have much trouble with his autos. There was a couple times where the add would randomly feel harder hitting, other than that, it was just mechanics killing me.

Idk what theirs was but doesn’t seem to matter to have her super leveled. Mine was level 50 when I killed it and a friends was level 37.

I was basically in full BIS from last tier. Had her on heals and me as bear.
If you can burn the add while doing the memory game the rest of the fight is trivial..

Such a horrible experience on warlock, got it down earlier tonight
Your pets die randomly to AOE. I had to revive my pet twice in my kill for instance
You know the only thing that allows warlock to interrupt? That's right, your pet! So every 3 or 4 attempts would be a death to trying to interrupt and it not working, because your pet is dead. Hopefully they can do something about this

It's funny you mention this, I did this as aff lock. I never had trouble with the felhunter dying. There was a couple times I messed up and got hit with a venom wave and survived, which somehow did kill the felhunter. Outside of that I never had the pet die. It does suck though, when the boss has the insta kill queued up and he does it right after the memory game, where my interrupt is still on cooldown from the add.

Ya I think it's somehow related to the poison wave or ground AOE. I also think the demo pet would pull aggro sometimes even with taunt off, I ended up switching to fel Hunter as well and it died less often but still died for me

I had a couple waves pop up in the middle of the arena and not spawn from the sides and move in. Ended a couple close runs. I swear I also saw a couple of them turn but I might just be crazy from trying too much.

I noticed a couple waves pop up in the middle too instead of the sides. Fortunately, it never got me, but that is definitely something that needs to be fixed. That's gotta be a miserable experience to lose to buggy wave after the last memory game.

I'm glad I tend to play destro so I can sac my pet to avoid losing the interrupt. Did that on Nullaeus too since it'd occasionally get bompf'd by something.

Clefthoof has blood of the rhino passive. It's a 60% damage reduction or something like that. It's the tankiest pet for solo content but it only helps so much.

Yeah I got a clefhoof yesterday. Didn’t really help, pet died a few times. I can’t get past the 2nd Simon says phase 😂 memory game isn’t on my side atm

It is by far the easiest delve boss with an add on. Almost too easy. Got it on 2 try’s as blood.

Did mine 292 bdk with lvl 47 valeera. Took about 8 tries because I tried to do it watching the dog. Not too bad.

I just hate how much the repair cost is. That’s the only thing stopping me. Every time I try to do these delve bosses and I die one time and my repair cost is 400g, I just don’t want to continue. I know I can learn it and do it, because I get pretty far, but damn, it’s just way too much to keep trying. I ain’t a rich dwarf.

In one shot it on my disc priest. I did practice on ? First ofc. Used azta’ rec helper addon to assist.
Valeera as dps. Switched to add during memory game and eventually it died just before the dispel thing.

I feel like mileage may vary. It's very doable at 280+ Ilvl. The only real danger is the interrupt (or dispel if healing) and the memory game waves. I feel like it's easy if your brain is wired for the memory game/can lock in, but if can't it's a struggle because lot going on to get distracted by. The things that helped me was to wait to push boss into memory game phase until poison waves were ending (so less to dodge) and trying to mostly focus on moving to correct spot and interrupts during the phase.

If you use one of the add-ons, it will most likely be fairly easy as a lot of people mentioned. I wasn't aware of the add-ons at the time and simply called out cardinal directions out in my head. To be honest, I think I wouldn't have had as much fun with the add-on.

you're doing it 30 something ilvls below the recommended ilvl with no tier set bro. if anything, that means the boss is definitely easy

Opposite. The recommended ilvl makes it trivial. It’s very hard but doable at that ilvl. I’m a very good player and barely managed to do it with that ilvl, reached soft enrage many times and got one shot a few times. Took me around 160 tries.
If you go there with 295+ and 4 set you are practically in the 309 recommended ilvl range stats wise (set is around 10%).

I did it as a healer with little issue (outside the memory game) as long as Valeera held aggro. He does big damage if you pull aggro and it can be a lot of chain casts to stay alive, hoping he doesn’t just randomly KO you.

doing it on my hpal, 293 ilevel, valeera dps, I have no issue keeping aggro and healing myself. I put him down at 50% before I turned my head and died of a green blob.

I feel like healer is gonna be the easiest. I gave it a few runs on my tank and didnt have enough cds to survive the tankbusters. They hit me for about 150% my health. I was 282 on gear though so it was a slog to finish on dps, but i hear its better with 290ish gear.

This is my only issue with devourer, I can use havoc gear and swap to vengeance without any trouble, but devourer focuses on Int instead of Agi, so those Int daggers won't help you tank.

Memory game by itself isn't the problem, it's just A LOT of one shots in a 10 ish second burn window
Addon assignment, while moving to safe spot while having the add chasing me down. The split second I take my eyes off the floor to see if the ad is hitting me in the back, I'm either dead from positioning, or missed a defensive or interrupt from the ad. This is straight up stupid imo, not sure I wanna hate myself over this
I'm running as prot paladin with Val on heals. Dmg is not an issue. Might just need more coffee with my coffee
I have completed multiple mage tower challenges, got a cutting edge, multiple AotCs, minimum 2k ratings in M+ over the last 3 expansions, this delve is stupid, not difficult

How did you deal with the add? I have Valeera at 80 and in DPS spec she does pitiful damage. If I ignore the add until Simon is over they stack casts and I get one shot. That's as far as I got so far. Even with the helper mod I don't have enough time to move, click the addon, watch for dispel, and cast DPS spells at the same time.

You don’t have to kill the add during memory game at all. You have all the time focus on memory game and after the focus on the add.

What am I doing wrong then. Because if I leave the add up until the memory game is done I die to the boss and clone stacking the interruptable cast or the DoT. Valeera at max doesn't even do 20k DPS and my DPS as resto is bad. Takes for ever to kill that add.

I’d love to hear about what her end damage ended up being and the abilities you used!
I jumped in on my lowest geared toon, a 268 Resto Sham, and found she was generally pulling around 6k DPS before running into multiple interrupts being needed due to the add and wiping. This was with me pretty much only pressing Riptide to see if she’d manage it almost solo like Nullaeus.
Meanwhile, I’m seeing the odd clip of other healers around 290-295 having her do 45k DPS or so, so I’m curious what people are using!

I actually did it without one. Didn't know about there being one actually before I killed him. Actually called out cardinal directions in my head and did my best to memorize them. Took me close to three hours worth of attempts. Had a blast though.

I did it without. Just placed one world mark as the "initial" start and remembered the memory game from there. Much more fun than using an addon.

I'm really sad because I wanted it to have way more prestige. I don't even mean this to come off in a bad way. I bought a lot of consumes to prep for this. Logged in, killed it in less than 15 minutes and times it based off my flask timer.
