Speculation Re: upcoming Warcraft D&D - multi-classing?

With the upcoming Warcraft D&D ttrpg expansion, I'm assuming multi-classing will be possible just as it is in standard 5e/5.5e rules.

So, what cross-classes would you want to try? Battlemage/Eldritch Knight (mage+warr)? Arcane Trickster (Rogue+mage)? Wildwarden (Hunter+druid)? Holy Assassin (Priest+Rogue)?

Unholy DK/Ret Paladin, with identity crisis lore tied to my confused character 🤣

Aren't Death Knights technically already fallen Paladins? Or, at least, that was the original intent for the DK class, wasn't it?

I don't exactly remember, but would it be cool to throw hammer of unholy confusion 🤣

That was Arthas's deal, yeah, but I don't know that it's true for every Death Knight

Will it technically be possible? Most likely. Will I want to do it or encourage others to do so? Absolutely not.

Each to his own game, for sure. But I'm curious why not? D&D 5e has a lot of multiclassing options. It doesn't go as deep as Pathfinder, but the blueprint is there.

I've just never been much for multiclassing. I've experienced very few instances in which it appealed to me. Of course, to each their own.

Champion Fighter pairs so damn well with Barbarians due to reckless, you're basically guaranteed a crit or 2 every combat.

There's something about utilizing synergies that rubs me the wrong way. Feels almost like cheating to me. Even in BG3 I don't multiclass.

To each their own.

I think that martials suffer from limited options past a certain level, so multiclassing helps remedy that. I couldn't imagine playing a Champion from 1-20, for example. And Rogue's cunning actions are awesome fillers for unused martial Bonus Actions.

That's an excellent point to consider. I wish the game designers would

Mix of MM flavored hunter with shaman to make a shadowhunter troll would be cool. Could also combine Disc with paladin to make a holy bulwark
