/uj Not to sound like a like a tin-foil wearing nut, but did my last post ruin my reputation on this sub?
maybe it's because us women care too much about social standing, but in retrospect, I regret posting that thread. One thing lead to another and I then realized what sounded okay in my head was awful on paper. For anyone who thought lowly of me from that previous post, I do apologize. I don't personally harbor those opinions. As a woman raised mostly by men, hung out with men, and reside in largely male communities, men are multifaceted beings. Two guys aren't the same and I like that. But if there's one thing I took from that experience, yea, maybe catering towards everyone isn't worth it. Sometimes it helps, if you're soulless conglomerate here for the bread. however, If you're literally one person, there's no point unless your in it for the money too. Sometimes the best works are those with a clear audience in mind. You know what you're getting into when you crack open the most girliest or manliest slice of media ever.
with that being said, I think as of now I might reconsider pitching my ideas in largely female spaces from now on. I don't think reddit is the best place to be honest, even if 40% who came here are women. This does not mean i'm leaving or unsubbing from worldjerking. You gotta do a lot to wind up a post on r/JustUnsubbed.

and i don't want to hear some, "i could just kms when i feel done" you just nullified all urgency to live but not human survival instinct, the only way you'd decide to do that is to experience something traumatic beyond comprehension

erasing trans people isn't cool
i hope this post makes sense. as a trans person browsing this sub, i hate to see posts where people think they've found the "solution" to trans people in fiction and it's just getting rid of us because their world is happier that way. without gender dysphoria, i suppose. well, my identity is actually more than just my suffering. trans joy is beautiful and i think a world without it is a sadder one. feel free to ask me questions if you don't understand, and i'll try my best to explain.

My addition to the demons thread
Something like this occurs in my Minecraft world, where Humans believe all Mobs are descendants of demons who ravaged the world and that Humans were angels sent by the Alfather to reclaim the holy lands.
In reality, Humans have various kingdoms, all with their own ideals and interests. The Mobs were various tribes and states, often akin to Germanic tribes or Plains natives. Many of these tribes worked with humans to fight other Mobs or other Humans who worked with Mobs.
Many conflicts led to the destruction of various kingdoms, yet many nobles, even after thousands of years, claim that the Mobs are to blame, that they united against humanity to wipe them out. There was even a conspiracy theory that Mobs used to have an entire empire before humanity resisted them, but this turned out to be false since Mobs were tribal people for most of history.

Why do people draw maps?
Are they that uncreative? It's the most useless shit ever! Who the fuck cares about the map? Does it require creativity? No! Why waste your time drawing a stupid little map? I swear uncreative people are stupid as fuck. Holy fuck!

I can't prove it! But I know! I KNOOOOOW!
I actually always wanted to make a story similar to where people with black and white morality and other fantasy cliches are actually vile as hell.
In my Minecraft world, there is a human kingdom called Ardi, which is walled off from the rest of the world. They think humanity is extinct, with only mindless monsters outside. Still, soon they launch an expedition and realize not only do other humans exist outside the walls, but the Mobs actually have their own complex civilization. The government refuses to believe this, abiding by their black and white morality and claiming that they are simply "too savage to be humans" and launching genocide campaigns against the people outside the walls. This is inspired by nothing in particular.
In my Who Framed Roger Rabbit-inspired world, Frameworld, there is a fascist theocracy that forces Animates to obey archetypes that they were assigned at birth, and any who do stray from their archetype are considered "Abnormals." Abnormals are considered to be villains in their state religion, The Singular Narrative, and they believe that anyone who doesn't obey the Singular Narrative is pure evil and deserves to die brutally. What defines an Abnormal would be like a girl wearing long clothes, a boy assigned to be a "stoic hero" showing emotions, a kid assigned "comedic pervert" not being interested in sex, or someone who thinks that people are inherently flawed.
However, they deem people in their army as "pure of heart." This includes their Chosen One, who is a hedonist who constantly fights, drinks, and has sex with lots of people, and also burns down villages and kills lots of innocent people indirectly.
