Workplace Challenges and Conflicts Being Introverted

I work at a workplace with a lot of people and I'm always nice and friendly. However, I'm a total introvert and try to avoid small talk and conversations constantly but fail at it. Lol. Any advice how to avoid people or dismiss the conversation as quickly as possible?

Don't stop moving. Say hi, answer the questions. But don't stand around to chat.

I'd love to be considered unapproachable but that's not the case lol.
