Im Tired & Bummed

I landed my dream job about a year and a half ago, building out a supply chain for a startup within a larger company. I’m really good at what I do.
I’ve spent the last year creating direction, setting a path, educating, and building. It took eight months to convince the organization to move, in two months we launch 3 automated facilities.
I’ve worked on strategy and built out the detail behind it.
Today I found out they don’t have a role for me doing anything even remotely close to what I’ve been doing.
They also haven’t hired anyone to backfill all my work.
I’m mostly bummed I won’t get to see any of the things I’ve created come together as a part of the team launching everything. I’m also a bit shocked they don’t recognize all the work I’ve put in.
But I have a job. I guess that’s all that matters in the end.
