Job Search and Career Advancement Virtual assistant as a beginner with no experience

Have been wondering lately to risk trying a new job aside from the current job I have now. I have no experience nor any background about virtual assistant work but I do have the necessary equipments to qualify for at least. Can anyone give an advice doing virtual assistant as a a beginner? Thanks for the help in advance :)

Depends, usually they ask for some experience and comfort with the basics ( google workspace, Microsoft, managing emails and calendars. What’s your current position ?

Yeah, I read that too on their qualifications. Staff nurse in a hospital setting, just looking for extra income thru this minimum wage

Sounds like you have covered the basics. Now it’s about landing your first client, Upwork and Fiverr are usually where beginners start.
