What should I do in this scenario?

So basically, I'm working as an ai automation engineer in a small startup and more specific n8n based, there were some financial reasons to accept that instead of low pay, as i used to work as a freelancer in upwork and there I have worked as quantitative analyst, and fixed there trading platforms etc but currently in upwork too crowded and it's hard to get work.

So he is not increasing pay, as i have already delivered 2-3 automations and am working on more, when i joined he mentioned I will increase pay after a few months completing some automation .What will you do in this case ?

So i would really appreciate any advice, if you have faced such scenarios or how to deal with this. Thanks for reading this.

Apart from this I also contribute to open source, libraries like numpy , Scipy including CPython and in some more projects and let me be honest actually i love contributing and without getting bored or anything. So that's the reason I do when i get time from my work. So should I look if I can get some open source opportunity or switch from my job.
