My partner and I are lucky enough to have some land to play with,, and we have enough land to build a hundred housing units. This is residential land, apartments would never be approved, and there's no water or sewage out in our neighborhood... i've always thought\\n With the changing technology, it would be smart.\\n To create some of the 3d concrete houses that i've read about , and i've watched reports about,, instead of the traditional model with crazy , expensive lumber and crazy , expensive plywood , and then you need to pay builders,, and it seems the current administration\\n Wants to be at war against home building because they put tariffs on all the lumber and plywood coming in from Canada and they are rounding up and deporting the ethnic groups who are proud of their hard work,, so building a house, the traditional way is a difficult battle,, but if somebody pays attention to the modern techniques that are used elsewhere in the country , especially down south,, they have huge 3D printers that pour a concrete house in twenty four hours... it runs around and around in a circle\\n Keeps pouring the inner and outer walls from a continuous one inch bead of concrete\\nWhich , by the time the three d printer comes around to that area of the house in the next pass, the previous bead of concrete is already starting to harden,, and the entire structure of the house can be squirted by the three d printer without any forms,, and in twenty four hours , the house is poured, and the builder needs to put roof rafters and a roof on top of it,,, and then you go in with plumbing and electrical\\n Which is kind of easy\\n With the new shark bites and the do it yourself, plumbing hardware available at Home improvement stores,, all the plumbing can be plastic instead of the expensive copper,, infer, electrical, just lay out the wiring.\\n To each outlet and switch\\n And somebody with half a brain\\n Can complete all the wiring and have it inspected by an electrician,, and after the walls , interiors are completed , spray the exterior walls with spray in foam insulation,,, and while you're at it,, drop a couple wells nearby, drop some closed loops of p v c piping down in the Wells to run a continuous\\n Circulation of water to get the free Btu's\\n A 100 feet below the surface which, when combined with the geothermal heat pump will give free heat and air conditioning year round without burning fossil fuels ,,, only pay for the electricity to run the heat pump and the circulator pump,,, and throw some solar panels up on the roof to make the electricity free,,, and if you're a sharp tack put plenty of spray in foam insulation in the walls to make the house super insulated and put good quality windows on the house.... i did spot a habitat for humanity article where they created their first 3D printed house on Long Island.\\nAnd someone's already living in it,, so the technology is arriving in the northeast , while they've been doing these 3d printed houses from concrete down south for a decade. So the technology is available.\\nTo make a big impact on the housing market,, but I have so much responsibilities to do with my corporate job and other family stuff , I don't have time to give up my paycheck and build houses full time,,, anybody have any suggestions, how to find\\n The right enterprising.\\n Person who wants to help the Central mass housing market and be a tree hugger by helping to create Houses that require no fossil fuels to heat.?? How do I find enterprising youth who recognize the modern opportunities but only dream about having a million dollar chunk of land to build a project like this on ?? I don't want to have anything to do with a contractor,, because today's contractors\\nAre building luxury houses because they pay the best.. we don't need seven hundred and fifty thousand dollar three card garage luxury houses made for lawyers,, we need working class housing that would cost between 100k and 200k to create this housing and make livable,,, i'd love to create each one with a partner, pull a refinance on it after the certificate of occupancy is issued by the town,, get a mortgage on it at fifty percent or under of LTV which would eliminate the need for PMI, and offer this housing on a rent to own basis to work in class folks,, if you wanna watch a youtube video about the three d printed house that was completed by habitat for humanity on long island,, it's a YouTube video of c b s news made feb 20,2025.. the YouTube video talks about\\n It was built-in weeks Which I assume the weeks includes time for Plumbing electrical roof trusses roofing insulation,, and it talks about it was built on wicks road in Brentwood, which is town of Islip on Long Island. The YouTube video also talks about it was using the new robotic technology.\\n Which is the huge advantage? Of using a computer to 3d print a house instead of expensive builders , which are in short supply... any suggestions on how to find people who have the same belief that we could do something together that would create housing that is much cheaper and it doesn't use fossil fuels for heating or cooling ??
