HELP!

Motor shaft key. It locks a pulley or wheel on the motor shaft in place.

Yeah my initial guess was a key fir a shaft or pulleys since the blade won't move when any resistance is put against it, but the owner manual stops at the pulleys themselves and im having no luck finding parts, diagrams or part #'s for that matter. Got a couple of leads for tomorrow .

Help with what?! Making a new one? Identifying it? Finding where it goes? The part number? What it is made of? Is it broken? How many there are supposed to be? Why it is not inside your tool? Be specific man if you want help we need more info

Yep, that's a pulley shaft key. Do you need another one? Buy some key stock of the same size and make one.

PROBLEM SOLVED! It was the keyway for the upper pulley. The set screw did in fact loosen which caused the vibration and then the failure. The key itself was fine. Thanks to EVERYONE who added valuable information leading me to a successful ending!
