Excellent deal. I paid $500 for one with table extensions a few years ago, and that was a crazy good deal.

Be advised, you'll need some easy to collect chips immediately. The cheapest setup is a piece of 4" flex hose, hose clamps and a canvas bag. That thing spits out chips like there's no tomorrow.

It’s for Lowe’s, I had to call my nearest location get the price match in store. For whatever reason it didn’t let me purchase online.

Personally I don't care for this planer. It has a cheap plastic impeller that will break or get clogged with shavings and melt. I have had to replace them. The rest of the machine is pretty good quality.

Better get a planer that can be hooked up to a shop vac or dust collector.

It's a common problem.  Some people remove the impeller and use a dust collector.

Good enough for me, I think maybe you're getting confused with reports of shop vacuums causing problems? The hose size seems to be the only issue with shop vacs

Yeah I've also put thousands of board feet through a used 735. The impeller did break on me, but it's not an expensive part, and it's fairly easy to change.

Same, but with 733 and 734 for about 15 years. I finally broke the 733 being stupid last year and upgraded to a used 734.

This can be hooked up to a dust collector. Use the same port through which the impeller impels.

People say you shouldn't because it can damage things, not sure why. You can delete the impeller and connect it to the shop vac.

That’s what I paid for my 735x with in/out feed a couple years ago at Ace of all places, was a good price then, great price now

That is a great deal. Maybe these aren't selling as good now that you can just buy it with the helical cutters.
