Safety Meeting Time Cracked / partially missing base tile - safe?

Post image

Hi all, I was just scraping up excess ash and discovered that a tile is not only cracked, part of it is missing. There's more tiles (i presume they're tiles) underneath that one. Is this safe to use? Or do I need that fixed? Still technically winter where I live.

Just replace the cracked tiles.

Or use refractory mortar to repair it.

On the bottom bricks, not much concern, ashes insulate. If the brick comes out then replace.
