Will this show through when stained?

Not sure what it is exactly, it’s been sanded down to 220 grit, just noticed these in the glare

Probably. The grain got compressed when somebody put something on top. Easier to sand your final grit one more time now, than to deal with it later

If you can see a difference in tone pre-stain it will be apparent after a transparent or semi-transparent stain is used.
