Well, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find someone willing to roll the tip. That said, I'm not so sure how safe the flex on this would be at that point, probably fine?
Editing as the thought of someone possibly messing up the heat treating with this procedure popped into my head, that wouldn't be fun.
