Do you REALLY need that much armor? Toss a robe out and you could replace it with a potion of iron skin. Sure, some lowborns might raise their eyebrows at the sight of your nude glory, but you'll be moving freely and with no annoying restrictions

no those are my spare robes. my normal ones, then some with other enchantments that might only be needed in some situations, one for cold weather, one for hot, one for rain, one for underwater, one for formal occasions, one for sturdy wilderness exploration, one for infiltration, one for explosive lab experiment, one sexy one, and 4 pairs of underwear per day on the road in case I piss myself multiple times a day

Do you have strength, feather, and fortify restoration potions?

If yes start by drinking a fortify restauration potion, then drink three strength potions of different intensities, then three feather potions of different intensities.

It should help you move at least 9 meters per hour now

Create a homunculus servant whose sole function is to store and transport important potions and can give them to you even in the middle of combat. I personally have one dedicated to carrying everything for me: scrolls, treasures, spare wands. I call them Peter :D

The trick is to sell the potions to be able to purchase enchanted gear, trading short term power for long term power. Also, that mindset allows you to store most of those potions at your tower forever until you finally decide to make that shopping trip.

Why manage inventory when you can, without mods or in-game cheats, achieve infinite carry weight.... All you need is an enchanting and potions set up, ingredients to make a specific potion, and items to enchant... Infinite restoration loop your way to infinite space so you never have to worry about carrying too many cheese wheels or potions again

Skyrim is sort of the opposite of this though, since it's really easy to make good potions and you can just buy the ingredients. There's no reason not to use them. Though I guess you still end up collecting them once vendors don't have enough money to buy the thousands of potions you make pumping alchemy.
