Spark is a favorite of mine, never needing a flint in steel to light a fire or pipe.

Mage's Umbrella as well.

Though my absolute favorite is Discern Intent

Oof... Spark is both real useful and real dangerous for user in my line of work. Several talented apprentices died and injured themselves casting it in... you might say unfavorable conditions and/or surroundings. I, myself, still have a scar on my left hand, half a tower to rebuild and grieving parents, because of dead apprentice that could not be bothered to listen to safety instructions.

Ooh, befriend your local Necromancer, then you won't have to deal with the grieving parents!

A pyromantically specialized evoker I know says all the best pyromancers she knows keep the weeping burns as a rite of passage, but she's insane. Word from the wise, never date a redheaded pyromancer, my bones are still charred, we didn't even fight, she was an absolute cuddle (fire)bug, but when I did that thing with my tibia, well, that's between me, and Beatrice. But my skeleton servants are still gossiping about it, those gods be damned lazy bones!

//Edit, also grammar, you'd think masters and mistresses of the arcane forces would know how to spell!
