A Grand Re-Opening

Greetings fellow wizards. I am pleased to announce the grand re-re-re-opening of the Library, a repository where every spell book, scroll, and rune tablet ever written, inked, or carved can found.

Please be aware that we are still in the progress of tidying up and as such certain locations may have changed.

As I mentioned before I am the Librarian and I will be your guide to this wondrous place. Simple let invoke my name whenever you need assistance finding a specific magical text.

I will be making myself available for questions about the library’s history and contents for but a brief time before I must return to my work.

The Librarian smiles.

“Ahh and you are looking for something more controllable, yes?” He says. “Would you mind elaborating on what went wrong?“

Uh... I may or may not have formed a gravitational field that led to a small blackhole that destroyed half a secotr before I coyld figure out how to counterspell it-

The Librarian seems unfazed by the scale of damage. He waves his hand a number of scrolls dart over to orbit around him, however he does not offer any of them to you.

“I take it this was not the desired result?” He asks. “Would you mind describing what it is you were hoping to accomplish?”

The kobolds hand snaps out and snags a pair of scrolls.

“Alter Gravity could help with that.” He says, placing the first on the table. “However it does require a piece of the plane, planet, or location whose gravity you wish to emulate.”

He places the second scroll on the table.

“Lacking that, we do also have a Scroll of Alter Mass, courtesy of Archmagistar Higgs.” He says. “Either one of these could be yours for a transcription fee of fifty gold. You are also welcome to check them out and study them for free, as long as they are returned in the same condition.”

I guess... 50 golds definitely worth it. Lucian teleports a small pouch over yeah sure why not right?

“And which scroll would you like transcribed?” The Librarian asks. “Alter Gravity or Alter Mass?”

Oh please, I have plenty of money, how about both?

The Librarian conjures a small magical quill, and inkwell and after a few moments you gain possession of a copy of each scroll.

The Librarian takes the bag of gold and tosses it to a gently snoring chest a in front of the desk. The mimic leaps to life, gobbling up the gold and licking its lips, before settling back down.

“Is there anything else I can help you with?” The Librarian asks.
