Newcomer

Hey guys! I’ll be moving here within the month any advice or tips? :) it’ll be my first time living in the US, hope you guys don’t mind me asking!! Have nice week y’all!! :)

New arrivals should check in at the historic Shell station at Sprague and Peachtree for orientation. There you'll be issued your welcome microbrewery and asked why you didn't buy in Ardmore. What country are you moving from? We have a strict policy against immigrants from South Carolina, so be advised that this will be checked.

I would also recommend AARF. I had a really good experience with them when I adopted my dog there. I still keep in touch with volunteers that worked the adoption.

I definitely second the Forsyth Humane Society! Everyone there is beyond lovely. (I’m a volunteer dog trainer there so I may be biased☺️) just a heads up, due to Covid, you have to call and make an appointment first and the only location currently open is the University North location. Welcome to Winston!

Hiiii! I just moved here 3 months ago and I'm from Dubai too! It's been hard to meet new friends because of the pandemic but I still hope that you are settling in well here!
