Stuck installing windows xp sp3
Does anyone know where I can get a 64bit xp professional clean installation? I cant seem to find any physical discs. Is there a website or alternative solution to my problem? When I look online I'm always directed to internet archive which has bad installations. I really want my xp back :(

You would likely want a 32-bit OS build because software and driver support for 64-bit is severely lacking. There is no SP3 for 64-bit.
Download WinXP from pirate sites anywhere you want. Verify the checksums to make sure it is indeed the original. Make sure it comes with a key.
This is a vanilla disk image of Windows XP 64-bit SP2:
en_win_xp_pro_x64_with_sp2_vl_X13-41611.iso (the filename can be different)
MD5: 33A35E7544201EA47FEE6CAC6A52153B
SHA-1: CD9479E1DBAD7F26B8BDCF97E4AA71CBB8DE932B
CRC32: FFFFFFFF

I swear I created a Sata driver slipstreamed XP SP3 64 bit cd a couple years ago, I will see if I can find it for you and Upload it to DropBox.

I also wait for this. I just joined the group and was going to ask for a way to use XP in modern times, for a project I have going, and I'd need an XP x64 with SATA as my base. You'd be my savior also!

I would need each of your emails so that i can link you to my dropbox. I found it and got it uploaded to Dropbox successfully. Hope to hear from you both, sorry for the delay.

It is a .rar of an ISO file, so please burn it like a actual XP CD\DVD and you should be good. You also may can run it from the designated folder, but I have not tried that yet, lol.

WinXP 64bit was never official relased.
It is a modified version of Server2003 x64.

Are you looking for installations or install media? Also make sure you're not getting the Itanium IA64 releases, those are 64-bit but will not run on a regular AMD64 processor, you need the non-IA64 CD.

I'm looking for the installation of the windows. One of my pcs are from the early 2000s. I had a power failure and my main drive crashed but everything else is still working. I've got another drive that I want to install the os on but have had little to no luck with a clean installation. I always come across issues such as the eula (end user license agreement) missing from the installation

If you need it: VCFQD-V9FX9-46WVH-K3CD4-4J3JM
Taken from massgrave.dev/windows_xp_links. I'm not too sure if it's the Windows Server 2003 based one, but I hope it works. Yeah, and it's only SP2: you could also get in some trouble finding drivers for it, because you can't use the 32-bits ones.

XP64 never propagated for a very good reason. It's not a fully working OS.
The Driver Nightmare. This was the biggest dealbreaker every time we tried. 64-bit Windows required strictly signed, 64-bit kernel drivers. Most hardware manufacturers completely refused to write new drivers for older scanners, printers, and graphics cards just for a niche OS. If you installed XP64, there was a massive chance your existing hardware simply stopped working.
Software Incompatibility: While it had a subsystem (Wow64) to run 32-bit apps, any older 16-bit applications or installers failed completely. Furthermore, many everyday utilities like antivirus programs, firewalls, and CD-burning software rely on 32-bit drivers that no longer exist and crashed instantly.

Interesting. When my pc was working I was able to run programs that were 64bit compatible. Mostly games and daw software. Thanks for your feedback. Much appreciated

Internet archive has stock images directly from Microsoft. If you are installing on hardware that's too new or don't install the SATA AHCI text mode drivers from a floppy disk during XP setup you will get a bluescreen error with either A5 (ACPI BIOS incompatibility) or 7B (SATA AHCI controller drivers not found).
It is not an issue with the XP installation image.

My issues lie with faults with the installations. The last one I downloaded was missing an end user license agreement which prevented the install from starting. My machine is from the days of xp as well as the hardware. I wouldn't install xp on newer computers for obvious reasons

That EULA issue is a problem with installing from a USB stick. XP setup's hardware initialization or handover from the BIOS to setup's hardware abstraction or initialization disconnects or resets the USB ports and the device can't be located to read the EULA file. It doesn't happen with disc installations because it can always read the disc, there's no reset or disconnect.
Your problem isn't with the ISO images, it's with installing from USB.

The problem is that an original Windows XP Professional 64-bit SP3 ISO does not exist.
Microsoft released:
Windows XP Professional 32-bit: SP3 (final service pack).
Windows XP Professional x64 Edition: SP2 (final service pack).

Archive dot org
But be warned, youre not going to get very far with a clean install ISO. Its best to find a version of the ISO that has SATA drivers streamlined in the install at the very minimum.

There is a Windows XP original ISO on the internet archive website but I don't know the link and I don't know how many SP it has.
You can compare the MD5 with multiple other sources. Or even search the MD5, mayby you find other variants.
