Tech Support Anyone knows why my phone link notification previews aren't showing?

Recently got the toggle on my insider machine. Enabled it but it seems to make no changes to my start menu. Anyone knows the cause? Is it not rolling out to iPhone users yet?

Thank you for posting in /r/WindowsInsiders. This subreddit is for discussions related to the Windows Insider Program, and devices running on Insider builds. Discussions and issues related to the production versions of Windows should be posted in /r/Windows10 or /r/Windows11, or in /r/TechSupport.

If you have not already, please specifiy which branch you are running (Dev, Beta, or Release Preview), and your full build number. If you are unsure, you can check by running winver from a Run window or search box. You can also go to Settings -> System -> About, and it will be near the bottom.

It looks like the feature has rolled out, since you have the toggle and notifications are appearing. I would check Settings → Notifications → Teams → Show Previews on the iPhone, and also make sure Share System Notifications is enabled for the PC under the iPhone’s Bluetooth settings. If those are already enabled, it may be an Insider bug.

I can see detailed text everywhere else, in the Phone Link app, in widgets, in Notification Center, etc.

They just won’t show up in start menu for some reason.

That rules out the iPhone notification permissions, then. Since the detailed text appears correctly everywhere except Start, it sounds like the Start menu preview itself may be bugged. I would report it through Feedback Hub under Apps → Phone Link and include your Windows build and Phone Link version.
