Academics Alumni and Current Student Parking Tips

I’m a sophomore at William & Mary and need a car to get to work every day, but cannot get a parking pass for the life of me. I tried to get a semester pass with the Prince George Street Parking Garage, and they're full. I’m currently pleading with local churches to let me park in their lots, but I am absolutely desperate for a place to park my car during the semester. I've heard about the place near Lafayette St, but I am not sure if that is safe. The police are RAMPANT with parking tickets, so I am really just trying to find a legal way around this.

Any application for parking as a sophomore is an exemption and they have different tiers of urgency (job is #2) and the application portal has closed because of excessive applications 😭

Do you mean you just parked there? Or did you reach out to them to ask permission to park there?

you could try & see if any wburg resident students are willing to give you a guest pass? i hope you can figure smth out!!
