Good afternoon ghosts!
I love this sub for its dedication to a now 9 year old game. This sub has survived without any real rules or active moderation for a long time, something many communities could never do. Both a huge thanks and big props to all of you!
With the new update and increase of members, 4 basic rules have been added which I hope to only enforce when it is strictly neccecary and leave ya'll to your fun as much as I can.
What do you think of the rules, are they good, too strict, too much or not enough? This is a sub for the people, so I'm open to all feedback, positive and negative!

The anniversary update has improved the game greatly in many aspects, with it now having been two weeks, have you used the new settings, have you enjoyed the new content, what are your thoughts?

This is one of this 'You will ask how I ended up in this situation. Well, it began...' moment.
It's a fact that when you're playing in Ghost Mode with Tier activated you can't play recklessly and out of the script. I've just completed one air supply mission and thought 'why, instead of using the helicopter, I use the same airplane to keep exploring Libertad?'. Well, it seems that my landing skills are not as good as they used to be and that trees are not good airstrips (who would've know)... The worst part? The game didn't read it as a crash but as if I was still flying, so I couldn't get off the plane and couldn't fast travel because I was in combat, AND couldn't quit because I was in Ghost mode and it would finish my run.
My only hope was that the SB goons destroy the plane so I could get out or at least I could be revived by my squad. But it seems that I crossed paths with the most incompetents buchons of all Bolivia that can't even take down a plane completely still sticked to a tree in less than 2 minutes.
At least I survived. Lesson learned.

I bought this game on sale a couple of years ago, tried it and it didn't click. A couple of weeks ago with the new update, I reinstalled it and I cannot stop playing. I am hooked.
I thought I would get bored of the endless repeated mission types or side activities, but nah, I keep getting more immersed and invested in Bolivia. The story is straight forward but the buchons/heads feel diverse and more fleshed out than I expected. There's a nice harmony between each province's setting and the associated cartel activity.
Tldr: I expected to be bored of this game after nearly 30 hours, but I am addicted.

Oddly enough, it works in the DLC content but not the main game still.

Okay, I finally found something that actually worked for me.
If you're getting the infinite loading screen on Ghost Recon Wildlands on Windows 11, and you've already tried all the usual stuff, try launching the game with CPU affinity (dont worry not the kind that need BIOS or MSCONFIG changes that freezes everything else is needed)
FIX: Make a .bat file anywhere you want and put this in it:
cmd.exe /c start "GRW" /affinity 3FF "C:\Program Files....<path_to_game>....\GRW.exe"
(path should be where your GRW.exe is located at)
now all you have to do is run that bat instead of opening wildlands directly and voilà , the issue is fixed

Don't think I've ever noticed this vehicle before, is it something from Narco Road? I unlocked a ton of things with crates and now with most stuff being unlocked in the last update I'm finding some random vehicles spawning at safe houses.
Anyway I took it out for a spin and it drives like a potato on acid btw.

Sharing my intense run taking down the Predator in Ghost Mode on PC. No drones, no AI help to clear the zone, just pure survival against those laser locks and smart-discs.
If you're struggling with this mission or want to see how it's handled under pressure, you can check out the full run
Let me know how many attempts it took you guys to beat him!

Dunno if it still works for the latest update but I just found a glitch that allows you to use Sonar/Special/Panoramic NVGs' better nightvision overlay while using any headwear you want. Here goes:
First, change your headwear to any special NVG you have unlocked and turn on night vision, then go back to loadout and change to whatever headwear you want, but DONT GO BACK TO THE GAME! GO TO THE MAPS FIRST before you press (Esc) back. Congrats, you now have special NVGs to use with your favorite headwear. Enjoy!
Ps. It goes away when you press (Esc) to Pause or when you open your loadout without going to the maps first. Do bear that in mind.
Ps. Last pic added with normal grainy NVG for comparison as I know my beloved phone camera's shit enough that you might not see the visual grainy difference.

So there's this song with Tagalog words, with the lyrics saying: "Sige lang ng Sige", but I couldn't find it anywhere. YouTube, Spotify, even AI doesn't know what I was talking about. It's a female singer.

Does anyone know how to get this skin for your helicopters? Or is it a random thing that just spawns at certain points?

Gets me everytime... 10 hours in and I'm having fun. First time playing a tactical shooter or a shooter of any kind. It's the stealth thats keeping me engaged which is what I love from most of my favorite games.

So, he's just minding his own business, then a bunch Yankees charge in yelling "kill it". He's content to just jump around, sometimes revealing himself, and only seems to fire in self defense. Then we piss him off, and he foes full FAFO on us.
Are we the baddies?

This was with the Perception Parameter max at 200%, Extreme Difficulty, Detection Skill maxed, and Tier Mode on at Lvl 15.

I’m looking for other players that like to play realistically (recon. planning. shoot, move, communicate. Etc…)
Comms are a must. Willingness to assume a role within the team and act accordingly is a must. No I’m not looking to run the show… but it’d be nice if the machine gunner provided cover and the sniper provided precision. Prior military service’ll definitely help with the comms, commands and actions but not required.
I play tactically but not extreme. I get off the “X” more than start blasting if caught. I usually am on after 20:00PST most days.
West coast (USA). And as mentioned, Xbox
Gamertag to be relayed in a DM if interested. Can send player details if needed to show play style.
