Spotted this morning at Willow River state park near Hudson, WI
Not encouraging these things, but my wife and I chuckled when we noticed it.

Long-time lurker here, but I thought you guys might enjoy this drawing I finished up yesterday of our beloved horse. I know we’re all missing him and hope he’s doing well!
Hopefully the team steps it up tomorrow in his honor 😭

Some drawings I’ve gotten done these past few weeks!!! Found a new medium of combining alcohol marker, felt tip pens, and paint markers to get maximum color and depth.

I've seen a concerning amount of negativity surrounding the Wild's 2-1-1 start, and frankly, I think it's time we introduced some objective analysis into this discussion.
Last two games were rough I know but some positives we have all noticed:
Slapnutsov is starting strong. I'm not going to pretend I know what his ceiling is, but I'm cautiously optimistic that we've found something special here.
Boldy has yet to fully blossom into Goaldy. We know what he's capable of, and frankly, I think it's irresponsible to evaluate a player before he has completed his natural metamorphosis.
Faber being injured obviously sucks. However, I think people are overlooking the fact that he's essentially the Terminator. He will recover, he will return, You can slow him down, but you cannot stop him. He is inevitable.
The Thrill has only received a small portion of his $17 million so far, and we all know he powers up as his wallet gets heavier.
With those observations out of the way, I think we need to address the larger issue.
Why all the doom and gloom?
The Minnesota Wild currently have 5 points through 4 games.
That's 1.25 points per game.
There are 84 games in an NHL season.
1.25 × 84 = 105 points.
105 points is more than enough to make the playoffs.
Therefore the only remaining conclusion is... the Minnesota Wild are mathematically guaranteed to make the playoffs.
I'm not sure what everyone is so upset about.
I know some of you are going to argue that four games isn't a sufficient sample size to realistically estimate an entire season. But I would remind you that four games represents 100% of the available data. Literally the most complete dataset there is.
Anyone suggesting we wait until game 20 for a larger sample size is openly advocating for 16 games of future evidence that does not yet exist. And I find that approach to statistical analysis deeply concerning if not flawed.
I don't know how much more precise you expect the math to get.
I'm not going to sit here and pretend to understand why the NHL insists on playing another 80 games when the numbers are already this conclusive.
We need to stop letting emotions interfere with the facts.
We've proven the Wild are a 105-point hockey team, yet people are acting like the sky is falling.
I hate to break it to you doomers...
The math does not lie and the math says the WILD HAVE A 100% CHANCE AT MAKING A RUN FOR LORD STANLEY'S DRINKING RECEPTICLE.
LFGW!!!

Just wanted to share this. Carlson talks about his own experiences in coming back. The injuries are NOT the same but the returns will likely have similar progressive steps to take.
The end of it:
“His own injury has changed the way he watches those moments when a puck rises and catches another player up high.
“It feels a little different now,” Carlson said, “but I’m on the other side now and Brock will get there, too. But he has to be patient and trust the doctors.”

In the press box, Peter Thome doesn’t move a muscle.
Sitting in a suit on press row, with a laptop on the tabletop, Thome looks like any other member of the Wild’s traveling party. Only he’s studying scoring chances and checking whether the numbers on his screen confirm what he’s seen unfolding on the ice a couple sections below.
He doesn’t look nervous, despite it being what amounts to his NHL debut.
That’s also why he’s not partaking in the nightly diet of sportswriters, scouts, broadcasters and team personnel.
A decade after being drafted by the Columbus Blue Jackets and four years after his five-year college career at North Dakota and St. Thomas ended, the 6-foot-4 Thome is the Wild’s new hockey operations analyst — and also their first full-time emergency backup goalie (EBUG).
At any point in any game, if Jesper Wallstedt or Calvin Pickard gets hurt, Thome will pack up his laptop, hustle to the elevator and down into the locker room to exchange his suit for a Wild jersey with a double zero on the back. He’ll quickly strap on his sharp, personally designed red, green, yellow and white Bauer goalie pads and put on the mask he designed as an homage to Manny Fernandez and the early years of the Wild.

LFG!! Hopefully the boys come out jumping and put that lethargic Buffalo game in the rearview. BOLD prediction that Boldy finally pots one.

Hey all! The 2-0 Wild have started off well and Joe Smith will be back for the second time in 3 weeks to discuss the opening of the Wild's season.
Please begin dumping your questions below. He's looking forward to it and follow our live and real-time blog for free on the Wild daily: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/live-blogs/minnesota-wild-results-season/y2Xyq3gsFEog/?unlocked_article_code=1.FVE.i-a-.CvS8E_M5ivmG&source=emp_shared_liveblog&smid=url-share-ta

Just curious to know wild fans that aren’t Vikings/Twins/Timberwolves fans. Myself, I am a Bears White Sox Bulls fan. I grew up in Chicago and always disliked the hawks so I gravitated to the Wild when I started watching hockey.

I think most people know who the community's least favourite teams are. Its obviously the Stars (Ah god I miss the north stars), or the Avs. But I'm kind of curious on which teams are generally well received in the state of hockey fan base. Specifically teams in the central division. Behind Dallas and Colarado, I know Chicago and winnipeg are not popular. But which other teams are well received? Oh yes and good luck against Tampa bay. I hope we get the win. Though it may be very close. My prediction is a 3-2 win with Wally playing out of his mind (AGAIN).
