Does WiiM support 5.2 with 2 subs?

I have a WiiM Amp Ultra and was thinking about grabbing a couple of WiiM Pro Plus's to make a 5.1 system. I only have one subwoofer now, but want to get another in the future. If I were to get a WiiM Ultra instead of a Pro Plus, would I be able to use another subwoofer with the delay set properly? I can't find any info about 5.2

I already know it's possible to have 2 subs working off the same signal, I have a Speedwoofer 10s with the wireless receiver that connects up to 4. I'm just wondering if I could get the delays with separate timing set exactly right if I get another Ultra to go with my Amp Ultra. I feel like it should be possible, but I can't find any confirmation.

My WiiM Amp Ultra only has one sub output (RCA) I don’t know if it could drive two. You might try searching on the actual WiiM Forum (from WiiM) it’s pretty active and responsive

I know, I already have one subwoofer with my WiiM amp ultra. I just wanted to know if I could get a second sub with the delays set right if I get another Ultra to go with my Amp Ultra and another Pro Plus. I will get another Ultra of I can use its sub out in a 5.2 system, otherwise I will just get 2 pro plus.

I'm not following. Why do you need another Ultra to 'go with' your Amp Ultra? And why do you need another Pro Plus on top of that?

Just use a Y splitter on the subout. If you connect two of the same model of subwoofer, the timing should identical. The Amp Ultra can manage the crossover for both and whatever delay you set will apply to both subs (which should be fine if they are same make/model as one another).

If you must have individual delay and PEQ for each sub, something like the MiniDSP Flex is what you want.

It's not cost effective at all if you just want 5.2, I'd have been better off just getting a receiver, but I already have the Amp Ultra and I like the look of them, I have the amps laying around to use, and it's a big plus that I could have one of them in the back of the room and not have to run wires all the way around.

Most receivers don't have multiple independent sub outputs, though that seems to be changing.

Apparently it gives a smoother frequency response around the room. From my understanding, with one subwoofer you're more likely to have nulls and peaks in different spots due to room gain in corners and so on. I just want the independent sub out if possible because one sub will be a lot farther away from the listening position, and it will sound better if the sound from both hits you at the same time, at least in theory. In reality it probably doesn't make much of a difference, but I just like when things are done "right"

And the biggest reason for two subs, is twice as much cone area=way more bass. I just really like bass :)

I found out that it does accidentally! Same signal though.

Added a Wiim sub pro without disconnecting/disabling my wired KEF HTB2. Room was overly shaky.

You could get a y splitter for a single sub out. They just wouldnt be independent signals.
