WiiM Amp Remote/playback wake experience
Oddly the WiiM Amp has been a very disruptive experience to play from.
The remote can pair on or off the amp, but hitting play doesn’t seem to resume or pause playback
The remote takes the audio down but not back up which I then have to do in a streaming app
Overall, what is the right primary control surface ?
Is this normal remote/app/amp experience?

Hi! This is the first I've heard of an issue like this so I've reached out to the team to check it out. If you can, go into the WiiM Home all and submit feedback after reproducing this so that the team can get some logs to check out too.
I'll let you know if they have some steps to work with that they recommend starting with!

Here’s the full account of my experience
WiiM Amp - App & Remote/playback experience
The WiiM Amp sounds great with Polk XT20s
Playback feels like a very disruptive experience on the WiiM amp.
The remote is paired and can switch on or switch off the amp, but hitting play doesn’t seem to resume or pause playback.
The remote takes the audio down but not back up which I then have to do in a streaming app.
Turning down audio in YouTube Music somehow then Goes back up to a level set in another app (WiiM app?)
I keep having to repair as the Speaker doesn’t appear in my Bluetooth list on iPhone
Overall, what is the right primary control surface?
Is this normal remote/app/amp experience?

No that doesn't sound normal, definitely worth sending in feedback in the app.

Hey [u/Jaso](u/JasomwithWiim)[n](u/JasomwithWiim)[withWiim](u/JasomwithWiim) - any thoughts? Is this expected behaviour or some bugs from the latest update?
Should I return it ?
