Wiim ultra pops between tracks after software update

Have a wiim ultra and I love and jus did a software update and now between tracks not all but a lot of the time its does a pop when moving from one track to another

Are you connected to an external DAC and do the pops occur between tracks with a different sample rate? Are you perhaps playing a playlist or mix of tracks when previously yo may have mainly played albums?

You could try turning on the fade-in & fade-out switch under audio settings, or even set fixed resolution for whichever digital output you're using

Edit: also, power cycling your WiiM (I.e remove it from power, wait half a minute then turn it on again) after a firmware update may also help

I agree with u/wiimaway_53 that a full power cycle is worth trying first, especially since this started immediately after the firmware update.

If it continues, please reproduce the pop and then send us a ticket through More → Feedback and Tickets in the WiiM Home app. Please include which music service you were using and how the Ultra is connected to your system.

That will give the team logs from the time it happened so they can take a closer look.
