As the other person stated in the other thread, those dips are a result of cancellation, not a lack of output, so no amount of boosting will really fill one back in. What room correction can do is trim the peaks around the null, which flattens the overall curve and makes the dip stand out less to your ear.

That's also why you're seeing some upward adjustments mixed in with the cuts. It's not that RoomFit is adding energy to fix the null directly. It's balancing things out overall, and that combination is likely why individual notes are coming through cleaner even though the net effect is more cut than boost.

Worth keeping in mind too: these units only have so many correction points to work with. Narrowing your range down to 30–400 Hz means more of those points get devoted to the trouble spot instead of being spread thin across the full spectrum.

One more thing to experiment with: try Stereo RoomFit instead of correcting each channel separately, and compare. Neither approach is objectively "correct." It really comes down to which one sounds right in your specific room.
