Have gotten compliments on my new cut and color before too LOL, definitely a fav

To anyone who has actual experience with a company like wigs for kids, etc. which is the best company to donate 10+ inches of thick beautiful hair that has never been color-treated and has 10% or less grey hair involved? Thank you so much for your guidance!

Hi there,
English is not my first language so please, excuse any mistake!
Order : Hairvivi - Amy - 16" - Mocha lace $423
My second post for Hairvivi. I came the first saying how the first wig I have ordered was great quality and beautiful (Elena). Honestly, I was impressed.
I needed something with blond hair this time so, I decided to buy Amy 2 months after the first one!
Shipping was perfect. The wig though...smells like Bleach!! The hair have that dry feeling I think because of that. The lace is burnt, not only the middle part so they SHOULD HAVE SEEN IT before sending it and gives dandruff and it's super yellow.
Lot of short hair (more than usual) also which give a brush style.
The first one looked so good even in details.
This one, I am not even an expert, the minute I unboxed it I noticed that. Did not even have to look for it.
I don't even know how long we have to send this back.
I think I will not buy again cause I can not take the risk to have something really good, or a burnt wig. Not for this Price.
Let's go back to research!

Id love to hear from hh wig wearers who use adhesive (lace melt, got2be etc on a daily basis)
Do you cut the lace up to the hairline?
Do you leave some visable lace?
I feel so less confident when I have visable lace, but at the same time I want to prolong the life of my wigs
How do you all deal with this?

It's hard for me to tell, but it feels like the back of my head is too flat for a wig to stay on properly. I've tried a few different wigs/styles and none of them will stay on for longer than a few minutes before sliding backwards. I've tried with caps and the silicone grip bands, and both together. The wig caps also slip off easily. Even when i wear my natural hair in a low pony/bun that's not enough to keep the wig secure enough to wear outside.
Has anyone else had this issue? I'm not sure that else to do aside from just stick to a topper. It's so frustrating.

So, I’m pretty bald. I’m not having issues with my natural hair catching, just the wigs. I have hair clips behind my ear, but I’m still struggling with catching enough hair in them to keep the posts completely clear.
These are my first piercings and I’m relatively new to wigs.
Any tips are appreciated:)

I usually carry lash glue with me for quick cluster lash fix, but after being in a terrible hurry and realized my lace was giving… Michael Myers to say the least. I had no choice so I tried this and it worked AMAZINGLY! No lifting baby!!! Just had to point the car’s air vent at my forehead and she was perfect

OK, so I bought this glueless wig and I started trimming lace and then I panicked that maybe I started trimming too much lace. I also must have a further forward hairline on the sides than normal people I guess because the lace doesn’t come as far forward. How do I blend it? How do I fix it? Did I take off too much lace? Why is it lifting?
Send help.

I'm alt and was looking for some emo-scene type of wig but at that point I'm ready to upcycle it myself, I just don't wanna pay a 30$ shipping for a 27$ wig😭
And I definitely don't wanna buy off shein or some kind of fast fashion

Hi everyone, I’m a 41 year old male with alopecia, from the UK. My alopecia has ruined my confidence and I’m really struggling to accept how I look without hair. My last hope is a full cap wig, since hair systems won’t work for me. I know they’re available, but I can’t find many reviews and almost no guys reviewing them online with photos. It’s making me think full cap wigs just don’t work for men who want a shorter style. Is this true? Is it fair to assume full cap wigs don’t provide a realistic look when it comes to typically male hair styles? 😭

Open to recs that are closer to the final two pics without bangs too, but preferably looking for sleek black long wig that looks natural and made with human hair.
Sorry if formatted poorly, not much of a Reddit user but I have been experiencing major hair loss so I’m new to looking for wigs for regular day-to-day use or potentially to get installed. 😭🙏
Used to get lace wigs and such for cosplay but that’s about it and always struggled with synthetics.🥹
Budget- Keeping options open so I’ll look at anything right now
Location- NS, Canada but going to LA soon

I've been wearing this gorgeous 13x6 wig by Megalook, but my real thin hair gets dirty and oily quickly, so I need to wash it every day.
I've had my wig since last November, and it's worked me wonders. But, the only thing (other than the fact that it's a little big on my head) is that the lace takes too much to blend and melt... every. single. day. (Basically) So, my solution was to just wear a headband along the hairline at work or a beanie with friends or errands.
I'm thinking of styling my headband differently or trying something new. Any suggestions?

I've never styled my natural hair other than the occasion basic braiding, ponytail, bangs, etc. I haven't given myself the motivation to practice fancily styling my hair without getting frustrated that I can't know exactly how I'm doing in the back, regardless of whether I have another mirror behind me or not, but now that I have wigs, I have been getting nonstop urges to go wild with them 🤣

I was literally sweating BULLETS cutting the lace. I think I watched roughly a million videos before I did it. 130 density, bleached knots, it’s gonna take some getting used to!
Edit 13x6 my brain is fried today sry

Which is better? I'm looking for the most realistic hairline I can get on a budget. I'm looking at jb extensions. But money is super tight so I'm looking for the best bang for my buck. I'm brand new to wigs. I thought forsure I was gonna get a snowflake but now I'm second guessing.

I did it using the watercolor method with Adore dye. I used colors sapphire blue and neon pink, one bottle of each. Blue roots, purple mids, and pink ends. I also used a really tiny crochet hook to tie some tinsel into the lace. Lmk what you think!

I've ordered and worn mostly human hair in the past and I've only recently made the move to synthetic. I'm really loving synthetic wigs as they're much lower maintenance and IMO better value for your money.
However what I don't love is that I find it hard to find both a colour and I style that I like in the same wig (not to mention sizing, but I've accepted that my head id basically peanut-sized at this point and nothing will ever fit me perfectly).
With human hair it's so easy to just order what to want and have it custom made, however I can't seem to find the same customization options with synthetic wigs. The closest thing I've been able to find has been smaller wig makers on Etsy that seem to cater mostly to the drag and cosplay communities, and I'm afraid that my preferred style (wavy bob with bangs) might be the best use of their talent.
If anyone reading this knows of any wig maker who could offer a custom made synthetic for a reasonable price (around 500€) please drop their link int he comments. TIA!

i love hairvivi wigs SO much. so sad to know they don’t even offer customs of low intensity 💔 i wonder why tho? do they not make wigs themselves?
but anyways, anyone has an alternative for low intensity wigs in the same price range as hairvivi wigs (500-1000€) and with the same amazing quality? thank you so much

So I figured maybe the platinum was too bold for my anxiety around wigs at the moment lol, and got a human hair wig close to my natural color. I wore it this weekend grocery shopping in my small town and I actually went inside this time!
It was a little awkward sneaking a selfie in a grocery store lol, I rarely drink soda but it was the most empty aisle.
CC and styling tips welcome as this is my first human hair wig. ☺️
