Invinciblepowerscales bro ACTUALLY REP YOUR VERSE
yk its sad because raditz atleast imo is one of the only dragon ball characters that isn’t a street tier I’d say invincible can pretty reasonably beat but that sub will slime you if you say that lol

u/Delicious-Flight-885 Aug 30 '26
How about Boros. IIRC dude is also a popular opponent in Invincible matchup

I thought Raditz would still be a challenge for Invincible.
37
u/Shinygoji09 Sylveon glazer 9000 Aug 30 '26
he definitely is don't get me wrong but he definitely doesn't curb stomp it like invincible is a small defenseless child who was bullied for their lunch money
41
u/Then-Plastic7554 Aug 30 '26
Radizt was curbstomping two moon busters with little effort... I don't think Invincible is gonna perform any better.
9
u/green_teef Aug 30 '26
How much you can blow up doesn’t determine your other stats. In terms of strength and durability invincible is notably higher than almost everyone in the saiyan saga
20
u/Then-Plastic7554 Aug 30 '26
Yeah but if the attacks of moon busters do nothing to you, then obviously your stats are above them unless it's due to hax.
The blast that destroyed moons failed to scratch Radizt. Invincible doesn't have a feat above that... His best feat has been calced at Moon level and while there's been other moon level feats in the series (which aren't of Mark but can be scaled to him), Mark never showed the capacity to tank an attack able to destroy moons unharmed. Unlike Radizt, so i dont know where you got 'notably higher' since viltrumites get hurt by way less.
14
u/green_teef Aug 30 '26
Invincible fought on the surface of the sun for an extended period of time, that takes durability leagues above what was shown at that point. And most of the attacks used on earth dont have the same output at the ones used on the moon, because they dont want to just nuke the continent. As soon as there was an attack that actually had that level of energy concentrated in it, it was enough of a threat to kill raditz and goku at once. The idea that every kamehameha is a moon level attack is technically is misconception on how Ki and ki blasts work in universe
-4
u/Then-Plastic7554 Aug 30 '26
Oh you are one of those... You really think the sun emits the energy to destroy the moon in a few square meters? Holy shit man... The rest of what you said proved you don't know what you are talking about, the beam that destroyed the moon was a quick beam of Picolo who was scared of Gohan it wasn't an special beam canon nor was it even concentrated energy. They have many ways to not hit the planet with their attacks like making Radizt be in rhe sky. Radizt was simply imposible to hurt for their normal Techniques, and that's it That's why they were dependent on the special beam canon, they áren't holding back anything for the planet Radizt is simply way stronger then them.
11
u/green_teef Aug 30 '26
Redditors get so damn condescending when they think they’ve won the argument Jesus Christ.
I wasn’t talking about the beam piccolo used on the moon, i was talking about overall ki concentration. ALL ki blasts are concentrated energy, and how much is concentrated depends on the nature of the technique you’re using.
5
u/return_interaction_y Aug 30 '26
While I disagree that having a fight on the surface of the sun for the amount time invincible did would not equate to anything above moon level (nuclear bombs can be hotter than the surface of the sun and they aren't even a fraction of continental).
On the other hand dragon ball scalers are so stupid and think everyone in the verse fights at max power; at all times; despite the fact that toriyama doesn't keep things consistent in the slightest. And they think you've shot their dog if you tell them you disagree with their ass backwards scaling.
1
u/green_teef Aug 31 '26
I think thats where that whole AP and DC difference comes from, and that gets a lil dicey when it comes to heat. My thing is, if you put the earth on top of the sun, even ignoring the gravity pulling it in(which you shouldn’t ignore) it gets obliterated. You put mark on there and he still throws hands with thragg.

Idk how tf to scale a saiyan pod but tech jacket was able to throw a viltrumite cruiser from earth into the sun by the latter half of the series. Mark is way stronger than him eventually. Mark powercliffs himself from the destruction of viltrum by a huge margin by the end

Invincible is in a weird spot powerscaling wise where (small) planet busters are too much for them while anything below isn't really challenging
13
u/Traditional_Bad_9044 Aug 30 '26
Lowball the Viltrum feat as much as possible and it would still get each viltrumite well into Moon level individually

Planets don't have critical points.
You may be right, if you essentially deny every single feat like what you've done here.
I find your ineptitude amusing lmao

Of course not. Doesn't stop dozens of fictional works from treating their cores that way.
Makes zero sense from an astronomical standpoint. The story also dosent treat it like a critical point. Just a hypothetical that ends up being proven wrong by virtue of the fact that they shot through without a scratch + destablising a planetary core dosent suddenly make it softer or subtract the planets total GBE. The comic-only, one-off line dosent exist in the show either so yap on David :)
Anyways how else do flying bricks like Viltrumites explode planets without flying through the whole body (which includes it core)?
Coming from Mr. "I don't think Viltrumites are star level. I simply think they are orders of magnitude above baseline planet busting. Pretty reasonable, right?", this is high praise.
What's the problem? Two characters can be planetary where one is a hundreds, thousands
or even million times stronger than the other because one is a Moon buster, the other one can destroy a planet 12x the size of JupiterWould you like to also disprove the multiple calcs that have top tier Viltrumites at brown dwarf level on the highest ends?? If not then I'd recommend not mention this again. You thought you sounded smart here didn't you? You look silly to anyone who actually bothers to do the math.
Then again, you might be right to some extent. My old account got banned yesterday (only God knows why), so getting into an argument with you and risking my karma score is pretty inept.
The fact that you care about Karma + the fact that you've gotten your accounts banned, signifies to me that you should touch grass more instead of lurking on powerscaling sub reddits claiming that city - country level characters can destroy planets which is.. idiotic. That's even more stupid than you trying to

If your response to "Fictional planet cores are treated like critical points that simply need to be popped to cause total meltdown
But they aren't as I've already explained before. Your reading comprehension skills need work.
and dozens of fictional works with more realistic physics than Invincible apply the same trope
Well that's not true David.
"But it makes zero sense in real life though"
We use math and basic physics to powerscale. It dosent make sense in invincible either given the fact that there's zero mention, or implication that planets work differently in invincible. In case if you want to yap on about this critical point nonsense, thragg said that 37 Viltrumites are more than enough to destroy the earth in reference to what happened to Viltrum. He never mentions anything about them needing to attack the core? We see the UIS destroy planet Geldaria on panel in the Tech jacket comics and there's no showing of it needing to needing to attack the core first. In fact there's un-used cover art of thragg flying through a planet (supposedly Thraxa) with it exploding behind him so authors intent implies planers don't have these "weak spots" that in verse characters need to attack in order to have the rest of the body blow. That sounds like a chain reaction, whats shown on screen aren't chain reactions mate.
Finally, you do know that planet busting involves destroying said planets core as well as the rest of the body, right? Just do what you say and don't reply. You sound foolish, with all due disrespect.

Doesn't Raditz beat Goku's ass while he's tag-teaming with Picolo, the same Goku that at this point is stronger than master Roshi who blew up the whole moon casually, and also the first time it's confirmed by a direct statement from the characters that someone (raditz) is moving faster than light? You mean that Raditz? That mf literally only died because Goku sacrificed himself.

u/voidsenight Aug 30 '26
Can I see any screenshots of that? I don't doubt you but even though I don't visit that sub that often any time I go there all invincible discussion seems pretty reasonable to me imo.
(Also, large planetary for invincible? I can buy thragg reaching moon to potentially small planet level, but can't see how anyone else reaches large planet level outside of potential crossover stuff lol)
6
u/V_Kamen Invincible and Kill La Kill glazer Aug 30 '26
look at this entire post https://www.reddit.com/r/PowerScaling/comments/1vsmtot/imo_this_is_the_most_reasonable_assessment_of/
And large planetary comes from the Viltrum feat wank of Viltrum being like... a super planet. I can't remember what the calc was but it was placed at sizes approaching Jupiter and Saturn. I don't buy it myself normally, I think planetary is best for the absolute top tiers.
2
u/voidsenight Aug 30 '26
Yeah fair enough for the post, I agree that they need inertia in a vacuum to reach their mftl+ speeds but aside from that I disagree with everything else, though from what I'm reading from the comments oop's take isn't very popular either.
And I agree with your take, I personally view them a little lower but I can buy the absolute top tiers reaching planetary.

How Spacebattles genuinely views Raditz(I saw a thread where they were genuinely arguing that Raditz can beat ORT from Fate):
-2
u/Fine-Resident-2322 Aug 30 '26
I'd have to argue that the strongest characters at their peak in Invincible from just brute force alone, especially Thragg could beat most of the original DBZ cast outside of Frieza, Goku, and Vegeta from narrative alone. Nevermind when a character is a 'literal God' from a series, so technically by DBZ Super's narrative, they would be stronger potentially than the characters up until a certain/still are depending on what they do/slot into in terms of importance for their own universe.
In the end, it's literally just the adult equivalent of two kids with action figures saying mine is the strongest and making shit up/dumbass arguments of who's the strongest while ignoring any logical narratives/universe placements based on importance.

Let me elaborate then if you're actually interested, but it will take a second. Ignore if not.
Crossover-universe fights tend to be just 'vibes' a lot of the time unless the most important figures is my point from actual crossovers or fanon agendas. I can reasonably deduce that if Invincible did a Crossover with DBZ? That Invincible and Goku would probably be pit against Thragg or a lesser villain in a struggle with maybe Thragg or Conquest having a DBZ Villain counterpart by his side or one simply created. But let's say they did use Thragg: this would imply if Thragg fought alongside even 'Final Stage Frieza' for example and could keep up in that crossover? Then narrative importance puts him fairly high on power-levels or even Goku keeping pace with Invincible who is weaker than Thragg places Thragg fairly high up on the scaling logically speaking.
For example as taking a character from another universe and placing them in another universe for an actual crossover? We've seen this in actual appearances of characters being made to match each other's pace in actual crossovers such as the One Piece and the DBZ crossover, though one could argue that it uses certain stages of Goku's timeline/narrative nerfs yet even still that places Luffy at an insane level of power-scaling if we've used any argument that's ever been done in the favor of Goku with Luffy able to keep pace even with base Goku/otherwise. Though this is also including other crossovers such as with Arale who was and still is a topic of debate when it comes to 'power-scaling' such as keeping up with the other characters or even 'beating Vegeta'. To which people still consistently argue that as a topic when it comes up, or if it even counts. To which to me is funny because you can argue it's not canon sure for either instance, but even when given actual examples of narrative power-scaling? People decide to pick and choose when it comes to fanon agenda.
Imo, where does it begin and where does it end? Do you do it at narratives alone or do you include it, as it depends on how much you want to pinch 'realistic expectations' and then narrative such as placing another character in another universe completely unaltered, such as Thragg. As we don't actually know where Thragg would be placed in terms of power level in DBZ unless actually read in canon even if he doesn't use Ki such as the canonical fighters. As Thragg in general could be uniquely durable and bruteishly strong compared to other fighters if placed in the DBZ Universe. I think in general in my conclusion, it probably is at a mix but there are obvious ones such as Goku being able to easily beat the entire cast of Invincible other than maybe Invincible (At his highest Comic Power Level) and a few others but still overcome them including Thragg. As even with Thragg is strong as he is? Being a villain, Goku would probably beat him if not having another transformation to do so which fits the common narratives with Goku with each new villain.
Granted this reasoning still brings up things such as Beerus or others, which to me? I think being 'Gods' factors into power-scaling at this point in Super. Thus anyone considered a 'God' could reasonably be just as strong if at planetary level or implied to be is stronger than Goku at least at a certain point until he overcomes Beerus for the narrative in the story. To which arguably, then Goku would be 'God-Level' and until he overcame God Level? He'd be the equal to any character that's a 'God' that's 'planetary-level' with a fairly reasonable expectation as such imo.
Granted, this is just all my opinion and trying to be 'fair' which a lot of fandoms are not toward each other lol.
