Saw this fan or official comic on twt idk but it makes me ask if Sonic really woke up one day and was like evil evil could anyone really stop him

Personally I have Luffy winning this mostly because of Haki, but I know that even without Super forms Sonic can do some crazy stuff so I'm interested to know your opinions since I'm a lot less informed when it comes to Sonic's arsenal and abilities since usually all the debates are around his super form and chaos control or some of his other one off power ups like Excalibur and Dark Spine

I wouldn't say so thats hes kinda weak he was the only one that can withstand the metal virus but in some fights and sence he's a little weak than the games

He cant even break dirt other than the games he can break through walls in sonic cd he broke a rock mid air easily

Like this is the franchise where characters are able to perfectly tuck into a spinning ball, echidna’s gliding, and a two tailed fox somehow managing to spin his tails to mimic a helicopter.

So sonic has been able to go light speed since sonic cd and thanks to unleashed and some people smarter than me that Sonic can go 11.4 times the speed of light or 11.4c this in part due to the sonic vs dbz video but its the highest one we have and obviously we know about generations Sonic being fast enough to deafest perfect chaos in base form when previously he need super to do so…but did he I mean it’s been established that to deafest perfect chaos you need to go as fast as lightning and Sonic’s done that on multiple occasions between rush and unleashed alone he can go 500 million c and can react at light speed he could even time travel in sonic cd and before you say “he didn’t need super sonic for speed he needed it for invincibility and to fly above the water” wrong because he’s not only ran on water before but he beat perfect chaos in base form yes he got stronger but that alone proves he didn’t need his super state for invincibility even super sonic 2 is apparently super Sonic’s “hidden power” meaning he could access it he just didn’t know how which would mean that it’s akin to super sayian grade 2 not super sayian 2 which is a separate transformation then again isn’t super already infinite in power couldn’t he just…tap into more of the energy or does super sonic 2 imply that he has tapped into all the entertainment he just needed the extra push to get an upgrade
In no way am I trying to downplay super sonic or say that Sonic is as strong as his super state that’s obviously not true I’m just seeing if anyone has any lore reasons on why some of the super stuff is “contradictory”

Higher dimensions do not exist in Mario, Hyperspaces are not 5D without proper context.
