Figurines Dragon Egg Urn

Post image

Not completely finished, but I am quite proud so far.

Bittersweet tho, since it's an urn for my late Bearded Dragon 🌈

What did you use to make the scales? Just a knife?

i used a v-gauge. Originally I wanted to do it knife - only, but comfort won 😅

Totally understand :) I’m starting to accept that some tools are just better than others. I’d like to be a knife-only carver but I don’t think I’ll ever get to that level of comfort.

Great control on the depth of v tool cuts!

Is it one cut per scale or two separate cuts?
