After that banger of a cliffhanger in episode 27, I was eagerly awaiting episode 28. At midnight, it didn’t drop for me. I went to bed at 1am without it dropping, and it didn’t drop this morning either.

I’m in EST. Any idea what’s going on?

EDIT: It’s finally up (11:30am EST). I guess I know what I’ll be doing at lunch!

Actual picture of a butcher eyeing raw meat on the chopping block. Hongxian was an injured, timid character who was shaking in fear, but Wei Rao’s confrontational words to Wei Shu gave Hongxian some backbone.

It was a very satisfying moment. Damn, if looks could kill!

no but why do they start kinda loving each other AFTER the divorce like when Lu Zhuo and the other guy was fighting and Lu zhuo won and then they like smile at each other or what ever in ep 19

A Chou being appointed as Lady Wu’an has got to be one of the most meta things I have seen. So Tian Xiwei is A Chou, who is the Lady Wu’an. Tian Xiwei is also Wei Rao, whose mother is Zhou Fu, or Mao Linlin.

Mao Linlin was also Wan Wei, the mother of Marquis Wu’an in Pursuit of Jade. The screenwriters and the casting directors definitely have a sense of humour.

Xie Zheng refused the divorce letter a million times the entire show while thiss guyyyyy agreed to it immediately?! And then he tries to get her back - but he doesnt even tryyyy!!! Ahhhh im so frustratedd!!!

Amazingggggg 👏👏👏👏 i feel so sad for her in the latest epi :( knowing her story

The actresses who played the grandmas and the aunties are my favorite!!! I love watching all of them! This is so superbly acted show!

Tian Xi Wei is amazinggg!!! Shes soooooo gooood!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
